We ate at the Skiatook Charlie’s Chicken yesterday. We come here often because we like the food and the employees. It’s always clean and good food. Yesterday the food was exceptional! Nice hot and fresh food. The hot rolls were like grandma’s, so fluffy and nice buttery like glaze on top. My rotisserie chicken was browned nicely and cooked to my liking. Black eyed peas, mashed potatoes and gravy, and pie were great. All the staff are very friendly and offer to carry the trays or help in any way. I couldn’t be more pleased and very much recommend this particular restaurant!

My first time at Charlie’s Chicken—ever, and it was awful! It was after 7 in the evening and we were hungry so we decided to stop at this location to get a bite. I had their $9.99 September special—came with 3 pieces of chicken nuggets, a drink, a roll and for sides, I chosed fried okra and broccoli grape salad. The chicken was cold and dry and the salad was loaded with red onion. The 2 stars are for the fried okra which is about the only decent food on our table. The place was quiet and the service was slow. Our friend had the meatloaf with mashed potato and green beans. Too much tangy sauce over the meat and the green beans were mushy! Needless to say, my first visit will be my last.

Jayce was very polite and helpful at the window. We went through drive-through.. . . I asked her a question about the carrot cake and she went above and beyond and found out my answer for me even though I told her not to worry about it, but I was just curious so she gets a five star day!

Food was very good today. It has been greasy in the past or spent too much time in the serving tray. Today the chicken fried steak was incredible. Crisp and cooked perfectly. The Mac and cheese was fresh and hot as opposed the clay-like clump that is served elsewhere. My only criticism would be that they were a little stingy with the gravy. No one likes to eat dry mashed potatoes. Staff is always friendly and the line always moves quickly. Great place to eat!

We eat here about once a week and get a senior discount which they offer. We always do the drive thru. Today we ordered 2 dinners of 3 pc chicken chunks which usually comes to somewhere around $19.72 with our discount. However today we ordered the same thing and was told it was on special and they couldn’t give the senior discount which was fine. We did not want the drinks and was charged $22.03. That’s at least $2.00 more than normal. I’m not the smartest person but this doesn’t add up to me. The nice girl at the drive thru didn’t really seem to care when I brought this to her attention. Food is always good here but got shorted on potato wedges also. Not worth to us to eat there while they are having this so called special. Ticket# L2, Invoice 250826-01-2
