My wife picked this place while we were in town for the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised how good the fried chicken was ! The Mac and cheese was super good. The fried okra was ok.
I would be happy to eat here again sometime.

Great chicken place and very reasonable prices. They have an extensive menu, but I just went with chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, and a roll. Everything was hot and fresh. Crispy, well-seasoned chicken and excellent sides. Super-friendly service. I was a bit overwhelmed by the menu, but the woman taking my order was very patient. I ordered chicken and a side and then added another side, but she turned it into a meal and saved me some money. Food came out quickly and was smoking hot. Would like to come back and try more stuff from the menu.

My husband ate two pot pies which he loved. I had the country fried steak dinner and substituted okra for slaw. Two large drinks and total was $33. My okra was very good, crispy and not greasy. The chicken fried steak was a smaller portion that was pre battered and frozen, not the best in town but acceptable.

Restaurant was very clean and attractive and service was good.

Charlie’s Chicken legs are #1 to Gabby!! My pet albino de-sented skunk simply has to have a Chicken leg from Charlie’s Fried Chicken at least once a week! Tried slipping one from other places but she knows the difference and won’t eat any Chicken legs unless they come from Charlie’s Fried Chicken. Even little stinkers know the best place in town for Fried chicken ….❤

Absolutely loved this place until I was trapped in the drive thru over 45 mins and when I got my food it was COLD. I called and was told they wrote my name down for $30.00 and to come in for our next meal before July was over, we called a few weeks later (in July) and was literally told that my name wasn’t down and they couldn’t help me. Wasn’t even offered to make it right, wasn’t offered assistance. Yeah so if you like cold chicken and coleslaw that tastes moldy and have to wait 45+ mins for your food then be sure to go wait at Charlie’s!
