Breakfast sandwich was good. the reason why I said 3 stars was because I clicked on the location in the art buildings to order it, and it sent it to the one in Hayden. As a student who was trying to make it to class on time, I’d suggest management take care of this routing issue to prevent further frustration of your customers, which are majority students. Staff was more than friendly in helping me figure it out though, props to them!

Food and drinks are good just not for the price (over 6 bucks for a tiny retail can of black coffee), but the location is really convenient for students. Also definitely not on the workers they’re great but often it feels they understaff with just one person taking orders and making drinks and food which leads to backing up and a rough time for everyone.

My friend got a bagel from here and after eating the first half looked at the second half and it was COVERED in mold that looked like it had been there for a very long time. They did not refund us.

Honestly this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and the workers are unbelievably incompetent, ALL of them. It shouldn’t take 10 minutes to make one drink, let alone make it wrong. A 15$ salad is an absolute scam especially with college students. Also, they literally buy pastries in bulk from a store and then jack up the prices exponentially. It’s almost hilarious how much of a scam this place is. A vending machine gives better service.

I used to like the café till now. The people kept on forgetting to make my order. They gave me a panini with no veg and asked if it was okay. No, it was not as I paid 12 dollars for one sandwich. Then I got a small chai. I’ve seen how those are made. Just some chai concentrate and milk. So why did it take them twenty min to make it? Three orders were made and I was there before them. They made a matcha order first! That takes more time to make. I only still come here because it’s in the library.

The coffee is pretty good. The reason for the 3 stars is the sandwiches. They are charging almost $10 for a kind of small sandwich which they barely put anything on. The thing is they’re really good and the first time I went the sandwich had a good ratio of bread to meat and cheese, now the past 4 times it’s basically been just bread.

Don’t tip here. The students working here don’t receive the money. Also the photos of scrambled eggs are misleading. Hot breakfast menu is limited.

Staff was very friendly. Sandwich was tasty, and the cucumber mint lemonade was very refreshing.

Place gets extremely busy sometimes and the workers sometimes forget the orders. It gives you a super chill vibe. The manager of the place actually refilled my chai iced latte while I patiently waited for my breakfast sandwich. I worked at an ice cream shop that would get extremely busy once and customers would sometimes have attitudes. Great customer service and vibes. I give it 4/5.

Charlie’s Cafe! I have been going to this coffee place for a long time, they are on the first floor now in the design north building (I started going here when they where on the second floor). I cant remember a time when they got my order wrong, I am not familiar with the staff. However the staff is always nice & patient (even with the long lines & one register). I have to say the prices are fair, but my favorite thing about this little cafe is the food! They have a chef make the meals and drop them off daily so they are fresh. The cafe will prep the Indian food (heat it up, and give you the choice of adding yogurt). I have even gone to campus just to pick up a meal here, it is that good, and at a great price.
