Will be back.
Limited menu was the only negative but I am sure once every thing gets back to normal (if there is such a thing) the menu will be great and plentiful.
Had the brisket sandwich on garlic toast and a baked potato.
Our server was great. She was attentive and personable. We ordered our drinks, and then found out they were out of Root Beer. Not a huge deal, but disappointing for a 9 year old.
We ordered our meals, which consisted of the chili dog and a Prime Rib sandwich. Unfortunately, they had not received a delivery of hot dogs, so that was unavailable also. A different lady came to our table, I’m not sure if she was the manager or a lead server, but she made us aware of the hot dog shortage and was very apologetic.
My son ended up ordering the buffalo chicken sandwich. When the food came out, it was esthetically underwhelming. The prime rib sandwich was 2 slices of thin Texas toast with a thin cut of prime rib thrown on top. The buffalo chicken sandwich was a piece of grilled chicken breast, and it looked like they added the sauce on it right before it came out. And forgot the lettuce and tomato. Definitely not worth the price you pay for the food. The fries and salad were pretty good. I’ve been here twice in the past 3 months, and both times I have left disappointed. Service has always been great though.
The last two times I’ve eaten there I have come away with very bad stomach pains as well as bad diarrhea. I should never of given a restaurant a second chance after an experience like that, that would be my own fault. They will never get me a third time, I will never step foot in this place again.
Too bad you can’t give zero stars.
Pros:
Atmosphere is fine and well lit.
Seats are comfortable enough.
Tables aren’t sticky.
They have sweet potato fries but you have to ask for them.
Portions are big.
Ranch dressing is homemade and amazing.
No bread before meals like some other places in this price point.
I had the Full rack of St. Louis style ribs and I was blown away. I’ve lived in Brevard county for 15 years and these were the best I’ve had. Ever!! My baked potato was massive and very flavorful. The corn on the cob was great!!
Our server Dee, was very polite and attentive.
Cons:
Salads come with a tiny amount of dressing and they charge $0.50 for more. Who does that? Other than that, I can’t say a negative thing about the place.
Also, got myself a Diet Coke. It was not busy and thus The manager in the waitstaff really went above and beyond. My advice to potential justice to go in on a Sunday night around 7 PM for a late dinner. You will not be disappointed.
As always during Covid, please remember the restaurants are understaffed and I knew this going in here. However, they meaning the wait staff and manager outdid themselves. From the time I went in till the time I left, I didn’t feel disappointed. I felt like I was welcomed.
The view of the distillery was quite nice until you look a little closer to see smeared, spotted, dingy windows obstructing your view. Service was on the slow side despite the restaurant being less than half full. Altogether, this was enough to convince me to never return. The interior itself is very unique and rustic, it’s a shame that the food quality couldn’t match the décor.
