Always an amazing meal. Seating and parking are limited, but even with a long line we were able to get seats. There are no servers as you pick up your order and sit where a spot is available. If you want an affordable and healthy meal this place is amazing! Seating is outdoors but they have space heaters and covered tables for rainy weather.

Charlie Hong Kong has such a cool, laid-back vibe with delicious, fresh food that hits the spot every time. I grabbed a bowl here late in the evening , everything was flavorful, hearty, and full of fresh veggies. The sauces are perfectly balanced, and it’s great knowing the ingredients are organic and healthy. The neon-lit setup gives it that classic Santa Cruz charm too. Perfect place for a quick, satisfying, and feel-good meal!

The food here is absolutely delicious. The spring rolls (salad wraps) here were my favorite for the longest time, however I recently visited and I was so disappointed. The prices have gone up an insane amount. The salad wraps, which are vegetarian but delicious because of the pickled veggies were such a let down. They added two pieces of carrot in my wraps which were gone after my first bite and I was left with lettuce and noodles. I paid $10 for one wrap and peanut sauce ($3). That being said, the food here is delicious and I recommend the Spicy Dan & Gado Gado.

Such a great staple in Midtown Santa Cruz. Very passionate local owner dedicated to affordable healthy food. Very affordable indeed. Myriad selection of asian-fused menu. Spicy cauliflower was tasty, as was the green curry chicken dish. Ordered hibiscus juice as well, so good! Amicable staff and prompt service. Parking on site.

This was a great stop for lunch. I got the green curry bowl with savory tofu and it was definitely spicy and flavorful. I love this place all the dishes are very tasty and vegetarian and meat eater friendly. I get the spicy dan noodles with spicy garlic tofu. I usually would rather eat chicken but their tofu is better than chicken imo. It’s hard to find tofu that’s prepared well but theirs is so flavorful!

I drive past this place all the time when working In Santa Cruz. It’s a small quaint drive in. It’s vegetarian/vegan place or friendly place. They have 4 styles rice bowl, noodles bowl, soups and sandwiches. All with the same proteins. It’s not great but it’s good for being what it is. Prices are fair but I will say 5 dollars for a side of broccoli is a little over Priced. I would eat here again or take my vegan friends here. Worth a try if ur in the area

11-9-24: Delicious quality food at excellent prices with a fun casual vibe! Food taste beat my expectations and they seem highly sensitive to diner’s needs. Picnic table self service seating. You’ll need a code to get in the restroom. There were 7 in line ahead of us but it moved along 2-3 minutes each. Don’t tell anyone—especially tourists.

Went to pick up my food and the person giving it to me was annoyed I actually showed up to get my food. My soup was supposed to be a bowl, not a cup. It was a cup. I’m new to the area and this seems to be a common thing that servers are super annoyed to do their job.
