I absolutely loved the atmosphere! The mishmash of couches and comfy chairs for seating was just perfect, and I loved all the old books. The service left a lot to be desired, though, which was a bummer considering how cool the place was. I had a chicken cordon bleu sandwich, which was fine. My friend’s sandwich (the Elizabeth, or something like that – it was also a chicken sandwich) was AMAZING, though.

My friend and I ate here for lunch today. The restaurant itself is nestled between other businesses. If you are driving by you might miss it at first. We parked in the parking garage close to it. Be warned! You have to pay. The restaurant does not validate parking. Once you walk in it is pretty dark. Watch your step! You seat yourself. They have tables and chairs but also couches to sit on. It is a comfortable and relaxing environment. I’m sure it gets pretty busy on the weekends. We ordered the hot pepper cheese for our appetizer. It was delicious. For my meal I got a special menu item. I got the beer cheese chicken sandwich. It was very good! I also got fries. They gave me very large portions. Overall we had a great experience. Our service was good and the food was great! I would like to go back on a weekend evenings for drinks.

This is such a cool place. Great for kids and families, at least on a Wednesday during lunch. Explore the book shelves and find hidden treasures. Anything from money to notes. Absolutely loved it. Food was great and atmosphere is very unique and very casual, laid back environment.

If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet night out, then Charlie Brown’s is perfect for you. With its dim lit setting and comfortable atmosphere there is no better restaurant to go to if you’re looking for somewhere to relax. They offer a variety of food such as burgers, wings, tuna steak, etc. For those of age, there is also a bar where they offer affordable drinks. The inside is a cozy setting with couches sitting near a fireplace which adds to the warmth. I love the couches here because both times I visited here, I noticed there were always groups of people on the couches sitting around talking. It was nice to see people talking face to face and having real conversations rather than making small talk and sitting on their phones. I love coming here for an affordable meal with a nice experience.

The music didn’t entirely fit the vibes but it was definitely a nice experience. The food was absolutely delicious. I got the jerk chicken appetizer and the fries, chicken was nice, tender, and juicy, fries were lightly salted and perfectly made. I enjoyed the atmosphere so much, I felt right at home. The waitress Kim was super sweet and me and my family enjoyed our time! Definitely recommend!

Super cool bar that was covered in books and old couches. We must have went on an off day, our server misplaced a friend’s ID for a little bit (we got it back), there was a super funky smell, and our drinks were just okay. BUT it was one bad experience, and I’m told that every other trip they’ve been on this is one of their favorite bars! We also got a burger for burger week that was exciting!

I’ve been going to Charlie Brown’s for over 20 years. The prices have always been good and the drinks reliably cold, which is exactly why I’ve kept coming back. Today’s visit, however, was memorable… just not in the way you want a restaurant experience to be memorable.
A friend and I arrived around 1:30 p.m. to a mostly empty restaurant. Now, I’m a reasonable person. A dirty wine glass? Not ideal, but it happens and did. No refills for a while? Annoying, but survivable and we managed.
But then came the moment that makes me wonder why we didn’t walk out.
Our waitress accidentally knocked a few fries into my water. I’m like okay. I’ll get them. No biggie. Instead of replacing the water, she simply reached into the glass with her fingers, fished the fries out, and… left the glass. Just like that. No fresh water. No acknowledgment. Just me, sitting there with what I can only describe as finger water.
Time goes by while I slowly accept my new beverage reality, thankfully I had wine. But I was parched for water. Eventually I poured the finger water into the unused ice bucket meant for our red wine (which wasn’t needed), hoping the empty glass might send a subtle signal. It did not.
She finally returned when we were almost finished eating, and I could ask for a water. Then, suddenly, we were getting lots of attention—likely because the shift was changing and it was time to close out the tab.
Look, people have bad days. Glasses get missed. Tables get overlooked. But fingers in the water followed by nothing. That’s a new one for me.

It had been a very long time since I’d eaten at Charlie Brown’s. Decided to try it again. I just remember how cool it was inside. I love the atmosphere, sitting on a couch and perusing the hundreds of books they have lining the shelves. The hot pepper cheese is my favorite thing on the menu. The other things we ordered were only ok. Our server seemed cranky, maybe just an off day. It’s a great spot for a couple drinks while you enjoy the atmosphere with an appetizer or two.

The perfect place to meet up for cozy and relaxing conversations and cocktails! There are 2 fireplaces with comfortable couches available for seating, as well as tables and a few high top chairs for seating at the bar as well. The hot cheese pepper bites are so delicious, I’ve never not ordered them anytime I’ve been there. Bourbon selection is great and priced relatively low. I LOVE going to Charlie Browns, especially in the winter.
