This is such an amazing place. We have come here a few times, but tonight it was worthy of a great review. The staff greeted us immediately upon entering the building. We got to our table and the server came immediately to get our drink order and then retrieved them just a few minutes later. We were ready to order for happy hour and picked a few different items. The food came out hot and fresh within 10 minutes. This was exactly what we hoped for as we came with a healthy appetite. Thanks so much for great hospitality and wonderful staff who truly care about their customers. The outside patio was very clean and they had terrific heaters too, this will be even better come winter time. We will spread the word about this place, and be sure to return once again in the near future.

Came in just to grab a drink while I waited for my food and somehow that turned into a full-blown problem.
Bartender was rude from the start, cut me off mid-order, and talked to me like I was bothering her. I could hear her being polite and joking with other customers, but with me she snapped my card down on the bar and kept an attitude. Then she told me I had an “attitude” and said she would love it if I just left.
She tried to rush me through the receipt screen and I said I hadn’t signed yet. Her response was, “Well hurry up.”
I asked for a manager. When he came over, he immediately acted like I had done something wrong. I told him it didn’t sound like he actually wanted to help, and he said he was “trying.” I explained that she had been rude from the second I walked in, that I was simply picking up an order and buying more while I waited, and that she snapped my card down and rushed me for no reason. No accountability. No apology.
To make it worse, another customer inserted himself into the situation, made comments, and escalated things instead of minding his own business. The entire environment became hostile and uncomfortable.
What stood out most is that I was treated noticeably differently than other customers around me. The tone, hostility, and assumptions felt rooted in bias. Whether it’s based on appearance, gender expression, or sexuality, it came across as discriminatory, bigoted, and unacceptable.
No crowd. No rush. No excuse.
I don’t mind following rules. I don’t mind waiting. I do mind being disrespected and singled out.
Plenty of better bars in Denver. I won’t be back.

The atmosphere is friendly and the service is impeccable. The menu is outstanding with choices for just about everyone. Top all of this with the happy hour and you could not ask for a better place for freinds and family. This has become my place of choice to entertain friends and family. I will even be hosting some of my sales meetings here. Charlie Browns has become my new hang out for any occasion. Actually I do not need an occasion to hang out here I just go because it is a great place and the people food and atmosphere make it a great ace to hang out. George, I think the Owner, is very personable and greets guests and is very observant.
Maria as the Manager, is very sweet and attentive.
We had a Greek Salad and the dressing was a little odd.
The salad is nice, but I’d want to add slivers of lemon, on the side!!
The night we went, was a Special Occasion; they were roasting a Pig!!
Very coool!!

AMBIANCE – Cute little spot that I see can accommodate different ambiances. Outside can be more sports bar like. Inside could feel like a pub or even like a romantic restaurant lounge. I think it depends on what’s going on that day/night. We came in for a Sunday dinner and they had a piano player. You can tell there are regulars because the pianist took requests and played songs to sing to. Very nice.
FOOD – I only got the spinach artichoke dip because I wasn’t too hungry, but it was decent. Garlic seemed a little too raw, but it was alright. Drinks were really good though!

Charlie Brown’s is a Denver icon and still exactly the same as it used to be, down to the old school cash register to the dark wood lounge vibe to the piano karaoke. They have a good steak deal on Weds. and a good Mexican deal on Thurs, and all the food is solid. The 2 for 1 calls happy hour until 7pm is also great! I will certainly keep coming here for as long as they are still around!

Made a reservation with possibly the owner or manager and came in last night for the first time. The gentleman that I made the reservation over the phone with was there to make us feel so welcome when we came in. He reserved a table for us right across from the piano. The vibes were so warm and inviting. The pianist was very talented and lovely to listen to. I ordered the beef tips in whiskey sauce and my husband ordered a Greek plate. Both were delicious and were huge portioned plates. We also came in right before happy hour was ending so we got 2 for 1 drinks, which is a great deal for happy hour around Denver. I noticed the same gentleman who took our reservation and seated us, making sure everyone walking is was warmly welcomed and seated right away. He was so sweet and it was such a nice touch. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Their strong attention to customer satisfaction, good food and ensuring a special experience for their patrons is so easy to see. We can’t want to come back
