Is a nice restaurant. The staff isnt super friendly and the food isnt all that great. I ordered a pizza burger and its just a burger with a scoop of red sauce. Pretty pricey for a small town restaurant. Especially the amount of food u get for the price. I dont think ill be back again.

Stopped for Friday night dinner. Place was packed! Reservations suggested. Service was great, pizza was fantastic. Don’t be afraid to have the salad with cheese and the house Italian dressing. French fries are the “bomb”. Great beer selection! Multiple menu items that I can’t wait to try in the future!

The 2 of us walked in to a dim empty restaurant and weren’t sure if we needed to seat ourselves or wait. As soon as we picked a small table by the window so we could see the waitress then came over and told us we couldnt sit there and moved us across the room to a smaller table that sat against a dusty closet door. Again there was NOONE else there the entire time we were there. Our view was we could see the dust inbetween the slats on the door AGAINST our table. We made the best of it, got our food, paid, and left.
We kind of made it a mission to see how much stuff we could fit on that tiny tim table. We ordered appetizers, meals, desserts, drinks, asked for to go containers. The waitress kept coming over to take things off the table even. But like I already mentioned we were the only people there.
The food was decent but not sure if I would return. It was higher priced and the restuarant itself was outdated and dark. When other people came in as we were leaving they picked their own table by the windows and I kind of wanted to stay to see if they were asked to move as well.
**Probably could fit a wheel chair on a non busy day**
Pictured is a steak sub with banana peppers added and a coconut cream pie . My friend also got the fish sandwich. He didnt like his fish.

When we first arrived and said table of 8, they made us feel like we were putting them out. We approached our table before it was totally set up and was immediately met with a few not so nice words. The server was good. The food and bar drinks were good, but I did not see a policy sign that said gratuity added to checks of 8 ppl or more. I felt like the decision was made based on observation of our party to automatically add gratuity. Our server would have made out by at least 9 percent
more had she not added her tip. I would go back one more time
and give them another chance to treat us with the respect we deserve.

Amazing pizza just like back in 1998.
My puppy and I are so glad the sauce and cheeze taste the same.

Fairly new to Rural Valley so we finally got to try Charley’s. My wife loves their hot pepper cheeseballs for sure but we also had a pizza & some drinks. We got a large pizza but it was the size of a medium pizza you could get elsewhere. It was very good though & it was filling as well. Friendly waitress and the wait wasn’t to bad. The restaurant itself looks to be historic & you get that feel inside too. Over all, A pretty good place to try in Rural Valley.

2nd time being here in 3years …. because 1st time was when we first moved up here and food we were served was average. However this visit the food way worse. Ordered a pizza on their menu says “Pizza Our Specialty”. No not their Specialty at all unless you want to eat raw canned vegetables on your pizza… I ordered a pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, banana pepper pizza, mushrooms and banana peppers were raw and cold out the jar, they came and got the pizza instead of remaking and cooking properly, they heated back in oven for 3 min. Still nothing was cooked. Told them I’m not eating soggy pizza u decided to just heat up. They took pizza away… never was I seen by a manager never was I asked if I’d like something different… worst pizza even more worst service I’ve ever seen…. if you like raw pizza then this is the place for you… if your ok with paying $20 for a raw pizza then this is the place for you….
If you want the best pizza in rual valley then go to valley village gas station because their pizza is 100 times better than this place and it’s only 14.99!!!!!

I’m not a fan of Charlie’s pizza, so I had fish with a side of spaghetti. The fish was not good and the spaghetti was ok. The side salad was good. No problems with service or atmosphere, but I might try something different next time.
