Great food and great service the last few times.
The only issue I have is that each time when I ask for a military discount, the same lady will take my ID and verify it up and down to make sure it is real.
The way she acts makes the experience uncomfortable. Mind you, every establishment that gives me a military discount, I will turn around and give it right back plus some to ensure the employees get a bigger tip as a way of saying thank you.

My wife and I recently moved to this area. Googled and found this spot. Great burger. Fries were great. Onion rings were a little under cooked. But my stomach still enjoyed it. Cuz Im a big boy. Customer service was top notch. I mean it. They were all cool. And attentive. And walked us through the menu. We will be back.

My Moms told me that we ate here when we were little, but I don’t remember, so to me this is my first time, and it was worth it! We ordered two bacon cheeseburger with fries, two free teas came with those meals as well. Burger was cooked to perfection along with the fries. So grateful that we didn’t have to have anything redone or be refunded because of poor customer service. We’ll definitely be back, and I love the TCU decor as well. FEAR THE FROG‼️

Surprisingly good the french fries were very hot and fresh crispy on the outside soft on the inside and the perfect amount of seasonings can you have to love a cheeseburger that’s wrapped in paper and dislike the sign says old fashioned burgers very good I would recommend it if you’re in the area

The reviews here are really good, so maybe it’s just me, but my burger tasted kind of plain and I don’t like mayo on it. I like mayo, just not on a burger. The fries are fresh but they get soggy really fast. Service was friendly and fast, inside was clean and it has a very cute outside seating area. Tea & unsweetened tea are the only drink options.

Came here on a recommendation by a local. Be aware, it’s your local “hole in the wall” kind of burger joint.
I had the Proper Burger and a diet soda. I chose not to have fries or onion rings this time.
The burger was SO good! The bacon was crispy and flavorful. The patties were cooked properly with the right about of charring. Buns were delicious. It also had the right amount of sauce and cheese. I didn’t have to add any additional condiments.
I highly recommend this place.

The food is always fresh and mostly never a long wait.
I get my burgers plain but it still has so much flavor!! (That says a lot when you can enjoy a burger without all the extra toppings)
I’ve tried the tots, which are fresh and crispy but I’ve also have had the french fries (with the skin) & the corn nuggets! all are very tasty.
They also have huge seating outside for anyone & some seating inside, if you prefer.

I haven’t been here in over 40 years. I don’t remember how the food used to taste, but the burgers and fries are good! The onion rings were good as well. However, they could use some seasoning, but if dipped in ketchup they are fine. The batter on them looks like they are chicken fried. They are pretty hefty. We’ll be back for sure. Really happy we didn’t experience anything bad like some of the other reviews.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings and lg sweet tea. $19.43! Mediocre burger and 4 large OR. The onion rings were BIG but had little to no seasoning and barely warm. Fresh is better for sure but these were not made fresh unfortunately. If you’re in Dallas area try WingField burgers. Now that’s a homemade burger you can barely get your mouth around and I pay less! Y’all doing too much with those prices.
