This was my third visit to a Charlie’s Cheesesteak first was in St. Petersburg off Park Blvd. I tried another one at the Brandon mall and then the location at 809 Brandon Blvd. I won’t be going back to another Charlie’s location since all of the locations were inconsistent with the food products. One had awesome fries, another had ok fries and the last location had meaty crinkle fries which were horrible. I also noticed a flavor difference in the meat at all three locations. The employees attitude the St Petersburg location were very friendly and the restaurant was clean, including the bathroom. Skipping the mall because the food there was no good and the employees lacked focus and a friendly attitude. The Brandon location employees were not friendly and the restaurant was not clean and the bathroom was disgusting. I’m in disbelief that there is a lack of consistency between locations after all, I thought this was a franchise. Charlie, you need to get a handle on this before no one wants to buy one of your restaurants due to business dropping off because the locations are being run like the Wild West.

I usually don’t do Charley’s because the ones I had been to have been just substandard but this one has changed my opinion the food was hot and well prepared, service was great and atmosphere was lively, clean and all around pleasurable. Highly recommend this location.

I spent 22 dollars on a chicken buffalo and a 3 PC chicken tender. The tenders were burnt and the oil for the fryer should have been changed days ago. Last time I got there.

3rd time going since they opened. 1st time was great! 2nd time ordered boneless wings they gave bone in wings. Didn’t say anything wasn’t a big deal. Went today and the food was horrible. Bad grease or old grease and the ketchup tasted weird. Thought it was the fries but no definitely something off with ketchup.

Not going to lie… really disappointed on the tai chili flavored boneless wings. I feel like I wasted 15$. I was looking forward to this order after work. I ordered for pick up, lady did greet me so nothing personal on service or atmosphere. I ordered the same flavor a few weeks ago at the Walmart location and it was the reason why I decided to order it again. The wings came out so fresh. But today the chicken tasted too breaded, overcooked, & Cajun fries weren’t fresh. Just soggy. Not to mention the ranch wasn’t in the bag. I would have care less about the ranch if the wings came out fresh. 1st bite was the worse, I had to spit it out. I don’t like giving these type of reviews but when ppl pay money for some food to go and it don’t come out the way it’s suppose to, that should be a crime.

The lemonade was sour and tasted old. When I brought it back, the worker at the front loudly asked, “What’s wrong?” — no apology or anything, just attitude. The fries were good, and the sandwich was okay, but the bread was hard.

We had a bit of a struggle because the guy behind the counter didn’t speak good English, we had a real hard time understanding him. It appears that he may have been the cook. Due to this language barrier my wife’s sandwich did not come out quite right. But what we did get was very good!
And the lemonade is Stellar!!!

Order 20 wings and when tried couples of them smell like a dead rat one of the most disgusting smells ever. I threw them all in the trash. Never come back to Charley’s I hope don’t get sick
