I recently visited Charley’s, located inside a Walmart, and as a first-time customer, I was intrigued by their grand opening deal: a small Chicken Philly and small fries for just $7.79.
As I approached the counter, my cashier Ailleen informed me that her new system wouldn’t allow her to honor the advertised deal. I was taken aback and couldn’t help but ask how they could promote a price they weren’t able to fulfill. Unfortunately, she seemed confused and had to seek help from her coworkers, who were equally uncertain about the situation. Thankfully, a gentleman stepped in and managed to resolve the issue.
In the midst of this confusion, I neglected to specify that I wanted my order to go. Ailleen called out for order #5, and when I approached the counter, she quickly said I was #6. I pointed out that my receipt clearly indicated #5. Then she asked if I wanted everything on my sandwich, to which I replied, “You didn’t ask me that, but sure.” The whole interaction felt a bit awkward and disorganized.
That said, once I got my order, I was pleased with the food. Charley’s fries were hot and delicious, and I couldn’t quite discern the difference with their house-made ketchup. The Chicken Philly was tasty as well, and considering the price, it certainly delivered on value. The ambiance was cute! However, the chaotic ordering experience left me feeling frustrated, which ultimately affected my overall rating.

This is the second time they messed up my order and I’m upset. I ask no mayo because I have a food allergy and they put it on and I can’t even eat the sandwich. One of the girls is really rude and shouldn’t be complaining to costumers coming an hour before closing

Don’t come here, worse customer service ever. No one was at register to take our order. Their kiosk was down and they only had one person in charge of this place. What is going on Stewart?? Your losing customers get some staff

Ordered 10 piece lemon pepper wings and fries combo got home no fries and wings tasted nothing like lemon pepper . Also got Philly cheese steak and I wouldn’t come back for another one pretty nasty. I’ll stick to Phillys Best cheese steaks .

I am a first and last time customer after ordering they did not have Coke zero available and then I noticed a sign that said two dollars for four wings If I bought a combo, which I did . the cashier never mentioned that to me and when I asked if I could add that to my order he said it was too late. He could not add it to my order. He was smug and rude and not accommodating to the guest. I will never visit that place again terrible customer service. And I will let everyone I come in contact with know of my experience with Charlie’s in Walmart

Food tastes good. Unfortunately, there was so much mayonnaise in my cheese steak sandwich, I thought I was eating a mayonnaise sandwich. It’s best to ask for no mayonnaise. Isn’t needed. Don’t know about the bone-in chicken wings, but the boneless ones are mostly batter with a tiny piece of chicken. Tasted good, but where’s the chicken? Fries were excellent.
