I just ordered from Charleys in Egg Harbor on Feb. 20 2026. I ordered a plain Cheesesteak ToGo. I should have double checked the order before I left; but it ended up having green peppers and mushrooms on one half of it. I asked for nothing, so I am baffled why half the Cheesesteak had the mushrooms and green pepper. Besides that issue, this was one of the worst Cheesesteak I have ever had. The meat had absolutely no flavor and the roll tasted like something from Subway. I will never eat at this place again and I hope that my review stops people from eating here in the future.

My major complaint was the portion size of the sandwich for the cost. Otherwise, sandwich tasted great. The fries were ok, but overloaded with the ranch dressing that turned the fries into a soggy and very salty mess. I will not be revisiting. Photos add an a plastic fork to give an idea on how small the sandwich was.

1. Table in dining room were dirty. Many of the tables were DIRTY. They do not clean the table.
2. Mens room was horrible, I should have taken the picture. Worst thing before I go to Mens room, the manager or owner came out of the same Restroom. I am surprise, he did not do anything the dirty/trashy restroom. This shows they do not care for cleanliness. So what you expect , what you getting in the food.
3. I will go back in few days to make sure the Restroom and tables are clean , then I will change my rating.
4. The girl, who is taking the order and cooking was good. But shame on that guy, which I believe is a Manager or Owner, keeping this place dirty.

Lady at register tonight, 1/06/26, was rude to me. Told me I placed an order “a long time ago” and “this is yours, take it”. She then turned her back to me and walked away. It was 20 minutes from the time I placed my order on website till I picked it up. I love the food here but I will not be back.

I really enjoy this Charley’s, especially compared to others I’ve been to. Like any restaurant, they have their days with customer service, but the food is consistently good. I love their combos and the $0.70 wing deals. I’ve been eating at Charley’s since I was a kid, so you can definitely take my word for it!

I ordered there shakes before and was super psyched for this. I even took a photo of the sandwich prior.. my very first bite a RIDICULOUSLY LONG DARK hair was in my cheesesteak. I would LOVE to ” keep it moving ” but I 100% CANT. I want to be contacted and I want my money back. That was utterly disgusting. My hair is not only in a hair wrap it’s tied up
I have no other words honestly. My appetite is gone.
Nothing else to say , clearly people who work here dont use hair caps and thats FREAKING DISGUSTING that it was deeply encrusted in there.

Good food…nice place. It was my first time there and if I go back to AC, I’d make another visit. I really liked the fries with the side of ranch. First time I actually tried it. Changed my life that afternoon. The chicken cheesesteak I had was very good but the beef one I had (not pictured) was a bit on the salty side. I also had boneless wings (Teriyaki sauce) as well as bone in wings, both very good.

Clerk has to be deaf. Ordered a large buffalo chicken sandwhich, no banana pepper add pickle and a medium Cajun fry.
Got a regular chicken sandwhich, only mayo, lettuce and pickle, a regular medium fry and a drink.
Literally messed up 100% of my order plus stuff I didn’t order. If you’re going to get lunch here, order online or else you’ll get whatever they feel like giving you.
