I had the same experience that a lot of other customers shared in the reviews regarding very low quantity on a large order of fries and dismissive rude attitude when I brought this up. This was definitely not the case in the past! The box doesn’t even have a single layer of fries for a large order.

Hispanic lady with the glasses was extremely rude to my wife after messing up our order. The 2 guy cooks had to step in and defend my wife. Worst thing is that my 8 year old daughter had to witness this. Happened on 1/23/26 around 7:15 pm

I’ve been a regular customer at this Charleys location for quite some time, often stopping by once a week since I work in the mall. My usual order is the small chicken Philly with a side of fries, and I’ve always appreciated the convenience and consistency. However, my recent experience was disappointing enough to make me reconsider continuing to visit.

This time, I decided to upgrade my fries to a large. What I received, however, was essentially the same portion I get every other week with my regular meal. When I brought this up to the staff, I was told they had added a “few extra fries,” but the portion looked no different at all. In the past, when I’ve ordered a large fry, it came in a noticeably larger quantity—often served in two separate containers. This time, there was no such distinction, and when I asked for clarification, I was met with a dismissive attitude.

To make matters worse, one of my colleagues recently ordered sandwiches from this same location on two separate occasions—and both times, the orders were incorrect. This ongoing lack of consistency and accountability has made what was once a convenient lunch option into a frustrating experience.

I hope management takes this feedback seriously. It’s disappointing to feel dismissed as a loyal customer, especially when food options within Fashion Square are already limited. At a time when customer service and quality should be prioritized, it’s unfortunate to feel like neither is being upheld here. I truly hope improvements are made, but until then, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

I ordered a combo meal the lady that took my order was nice but not so much for the cook I got a steak and cheese which was ready super fast the steak could have been cooked a little longer, hardly any fries my peppers were so huge I had to place them on the side decided to also get bacon which looked raw idk this might have been the worst that I have had from the company. I was showing the cook the pepper which was hidden under the cheese she says it’s a pepper as if I didn’t know what it was I’m like I know it’s not chopped up. Anyway I won’t be back but loved the mall

Was hungry at the mall and decided to order here because the line was short. I went against my better judgment and ordered. The grill looked a little suspicious, but I still ordered. Service was great and fast. My meal was 17 bucks, and the steak was blan, and the amount of fries I got 4 the price was not ok. I did like the lemonade. I can’t say it was a bad sandwich it just wasn’t as great as I’ve had before.

I’ve been to this location multiple times and the level of customer service is close to nonexistent. There is no acknowledgement to anyone in line if they’re busy.

The thing that I’ve noticed on multiple occasions is a person who handles food, then he goes into the back room and comes out with a box and drops it onto the floor. Every time that I’ve seen this he never removes or replaces his gloves. So, he is preparing food, grabs a dirty box of frozen food from the back, places it when it needs to be and then continues to prep more food, again all without removing or replacing his gloves. That is beyond unsanitary and I’ve stopped going there because of it.

The employees are definitely well trained. They help you through the ordering process. I had a basic cheese steak sandwich with a lemonade. The cheese steak was delicious but as with all beef products I wish they would increase the amount in the sandwich. Lemonade was cool and refreshing.

Things are not as organized a they should. They can mess up your order if you ask for customization. However, staff is polite and can compensate for their mistakes.

The labor shortage is real.

No, there were a plenty of staff (3 when we arrived with 1 party in line). One on their cell phone, two yakking it up about something or another.

15 minute wait to get two philly’s. Then, i watched as they put our sandwiches on the pass and then proceeded to pull fries out of the freezer and drop in the fryer… another 5 minutes waiting on those (which I had to prompt employee #4 for as I noticed they had served nearly all of those to subsequent folks while I waited… understandable… I’d forget about me too after handing my sandwiches over 5 minutes ago.

All in all, the hot fries and room temp Philly were pretty good. The folks working were generally nice/courteous. They just weren’t that good at food service.

Overall, given high prices, it wasn’t a good value – but I think it was a worse value for the business. They’ve gotta be bleeding operating like this.
