Always a MUST when in Chilicothe. Sadly this trip was not so successful. After $28 + tip I’m leaving without eating. The staff was great but the restaurant has a “standard” topping of lettuce, tomato & mayo, that I FORGOT. I DID read the menu clearly and there is NOTHING there stating this add’l topping listed.
I did find out it is “posted” to the right of the register but it’s not a location customer’s would notice when ordering. Honestly it should be a standard question. Especially after going to the register & asking for a new one b/c there was ranch or mayo on the first one that I did not request.
Still love the food & staff but communication could definitely be expanded & clarified. Especially since there’s a great social & friendly atmosphere.

The sandwich was phenomenal and the fries came out hot and crispy.
The service was slow but the guy working the window provided excellent customer service! I highly recommend this place.

I’m only giving this 2 stars bc the poor guy working at the window gave good customer service and the fries were good after we warmed/ cooked all the way the half a container we were given. So each Large fry was only half full ( see pics) the pictures show EXACTLY how I pulled it out of the bag with the cheese cup in the order of fries. And even with the cheese cup it didn’t fill it up. This is Even more disappointing bc we asked how big a Large fry was before ordering and they told us they were “pretty big overflowing cups” Unfortunately that wasn’t the only problem. The sandwiches hardly had any green peppers or mushrooms and was definitely lacking enough meat and the meat that was there was crispy on the edges BEFORE we even had to warm it up. Everything was absolutely COLD when we pulled the bag out 2.5 min after driving away. The fries weren’t even all the way cooked. We actually picked up White Castle before going here, we went through the drive through here, got our food got all the way home and the White Castle was still hot so it wasn’t cold bc of the weather. If it’s cooked to order none of this makes sense. After paying almost $30 for 2 sandwiches & 2 Large fries I expect MUCH better quality than this. Especially when this place is supposed to be “FAMOUS” for the cheesesteak subs and fries. I’m going to call and let them know will update on any future experience. So this location Does NOT answer the phone. So good luck getting them to fix anything they screwed up or a problem with your order.

I paid $15 for a very subpar cheesesteak and a small drink. Not a lot of meat or veggies. They forgot to dress the sandwich. It was way smaller than it should have been for the price. Y’all trippin with these prices vs product stuff these days.

I just wish when they were closing up they didn’t get rude, like for example letting people have ketchup from the dining room and being able to use the pump and get things for takeout other than that awesome fries, except for this last time they didn’t fill up the big French fried cups

Where’s the beef?! Sandwich filling is significantly reduced. Asked for double mushrooms on chicken but got maybe 4 slices for large sandwich. Almost all dining tables were dirty & only about 6 customers in store. They no longer offer ham & cheese…BRING BACK THE HAM! I hope other stores aren’t following the same drop in standards. Staff were very friendly.

As a fan of Cheesesteaks, my dream has always been to go to Philadelphia to have the real deal. But after eating here, I now feel there is no need. I have found my Philadelphia in Chillicothe! The food was absolutely amazing! Nice atmosphere, and the service was great, too. This was my first visit, and it sure won’t be my last.

Have always enjoyed Charley’s but today was final straw. Carryout order for 1 regular cheesesteak with onion green peppers and mayo. Upon opening sandwich there was enough meat for 1/2 a sandwich with two small pieces of green pepper and three pieces of onion. No excuse .
