If you’re looking for that true taste of a real Philly old school style, with steak, onions and cheese whiz…. Keep driving right past this place! So many sauteed yellow onions that it taste like a candy bar. No balance between the cheese, meat, bread or onions whatsoever! Worst Philly I have had in 50 years! I took a chance on a buy one get one free with a small California Chicken Philly for the wife. They didn’t even take the time to use the proper greens of an iceberg lettuce head. It was all the Rhine.. white bitter portion of the lettuce head. Three of the smallest flattest ungrilled pieces of chicken breast I’ve ever seen. Maybe the size of a silver dollar each piece and flattened out exactly like one. I didn’t even know there was chicken on there because it was under 3…1/4 pieces of cheese! I thought they gave me the wrong item because it looks absolutely different than the picture they have on display on the menu. The so-called Cajun fries that actually look like they are battered in the picture came to me limp and soggy with only 1/3 of them seasoned. I spent $52 for this order and the only thing that I finished from top to bottom, and can say was good… was the strawberry watermelon lemonade fruit drink. Maybe they should just convert and be nothing more than a soda stand. Because they have no idea how to cook anything with the word Philly in it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody.

OK! I never leave feedback but had to after stopping at one inside a Walmart in Ft. Myers! First of all, the fries were fine! Other than that, the Chicken Cheese steak was made up of flaky processed meat that didn’t look or taste anything like chicken, and looked more like dried out sponge material sliced up thinly in the sandwich! It was really pretty gross, and I would never go back!

We always enjoy this Charley’s. Good chicken cheese steaks and loaded fries. The mall is unfortunately going down hill but we still go to Charley’s once a month or so. Classic mall restaurant.

I ordered online and chose the curbside pick up option clicked the email saying “im here” and I waited 10 minutes after the time that It was supposed to be ready and then I called. I couldn’t get through to anyone. I waited another 10 minutes called again. Still no answer. I couldn’t go inside because I had my two infants with me and I forgot my stroller at home. However I still kept calling hoping I could get through to someone. After 30 mins of waiting Thankfully, I ended up seeing somebody I knew asked them to watch my babies so I could go inside and see what the hold up was on my food. I was told that they don’t do “curbside pickup” at this location but that wasn’t anywhere on that website and I told them that I called several times and waited 30 mins all the kept saying was “we don’t do curbside here” they didn’t offer to remake my food nor give me a refund. Extremely disappointed. And due to waiting for so long our food was soggy & gross.

Show up at 6:45 and they say they just closed… After asking what time they close she tells me at 10 till 7, so I should have had 5 minutes right? Seriously poor customer service to lie and make up a time because you dont feel like serving a customer right before you close. I eat here weekly, not anymore.

After being asked to contact their customer service I did, I was hoping to see some sort of resolution. Instead I was run around for three months in emails. First I was told the store would contact me and that didn’t happen. I was told the matter was escalated several times and still no one contacted me. Finally I was told the regional team was on the case!! Did not happen… I was told oh sorry we are short staffed right now. They could have just said that in the beginning.
In the end they offered to give me some points on their mobile app if I had an account. I declined… I wasn’t looking for a hand out, I was hoping to get a better experience from charlies after all we have been eating there for more than 20 years. After declining their offer I haven’t heard from them again.
It’s clear to me now why they are closing so many stores in my area, they just don’t care. They only asked me to contact them on my review so it seems to everyone else like they reached out and solved the problem. They did not, it’s just a ruse from a PR team who does nothing in the end.

Tried this for the first time via Uber Eats. One of two things happened: either they completely screwed up the order or gave us the wrong one. An entire sandwich was missing along with the existing three being all wrong. On top of that, the food is mediocre. Penn Station is much better. Would never recommend this place.
