I went with my girlfriend around 4 PM on a Tuesday. I wasn’t surprised that the place didn’t have a line given the day and time, but we soon found out why. She really wanted to eat there, and when we ordered, the cashier gave us a look up and down, clearly judging us. I let it slide, just like when she ordered her drink and the cashier tapped a straw dispenser with her finger, indicating that we should grab one with the greatest disdain and impatience in the world. The food didn’t take long since we were the only ones there, but I noticed that the food had already been prepared some time ago, so it was ready to serve. When it was ready, this woman just yelled “YO!” extending her arm with the bag, and I let that slide too. Needless to say, that’s inappropriate and annoying behavior, not to mention that while all this was happening, they were having a rather indecent conversation while children were passing by. When we sat down at the table, we noticed we were missing a fork, so I asked one of the employees for one, only to receive a couple of mumbled words. When I politely asked her to repeat what she said, since it was a very noisy place and it’s hard to understand what people are saying if they don’t speak clearly, she lost her patience and literally yelled that the fork was under the sandwich we had ordered? That was not only confusing but also outrageous, treating us as if we were the idiots for not immediately checking under the sandwich for something that shouldn’t have been there in the first place. I’m a very patient and understanding man with experience in jobs like this, and as you can see, I don’t usually leave reviews, but the attitude of these three individuals is inexcusable. There are many people out there who need a job and would be happy to show a little decency. We won’t be coming back, and we won’t hesitate to recommend against this place.

I ordered and here with a friend and we both enjoyed our meal. It was 7:30 on a Friday night. Food was hot and the lady taking our order was pleasant. No complaints here and I have eaten here in the past no problem then just the wait if it’s busy. Tonight only one person ahead. Minimal wait. Food out reasonably fast!!! Thank you Charlie’s!!

The manager there is very rude. I’ve been there twice and it may seem so simple to her, but I’m the one paying for my food and if I ask for a drink with no ice, I would like a drink with no ice. It is not my fault it is your mistake or a system mistake. I am very sympathetic and understanding however, where is the customer service over a simple drink? It is not cost you. There’s no harm in making sure the customer is satisfied. She’s very nasty has an attitude. She rolls her eyes. I will never eat from there again!

The bad reviews don’t make since to me, yes the food prep takes longer because it’s cooked fresh which is way better! The ladies at this location are sweet, kind and have a great balance of fun atmosphere and hard work. The large 3 cheese bacon Philly is insanely good and huge! It’s still 3-4 dollars cheaper than a giant cold cut from many competitors. The ultimate fries are great as well. Great location that we will frequent as much as our waistlines will allow!

Just popped in for quik sammie & soda for lunch today at 2:37. Staff was on point. gee, was so lovely when taking my order. I felt like I was in her home. Such kindness and attention to detail coupled with an endearing smile. Both Chefs were welding their tools upon a hot grill like skilled ninjas focused on slaying any hunger that might be troubling me. With a flash they beckoned me and with a wink — placed my order in hand and sent me on my marry way. Sandwich was delish. In these uncertain times? To eat out-is a luxury for me and for MOST. Place is trash! Me and a buddy stopped by, because he had been hyping it up. He told me how good the phillys were. We get there and no one’s in line. So we wait and wait and wait and wait….. no hey what can we get for you today or what would you like to order. The 2 very rude girls up front didn’t even acknowledge us…..and were standing 5 feet from them looking at the menu….then one of them goes in the back and comes out 5 minutes later looking angry, because it’s 11:30 and it’s time to actually do your job. Soooo we left and went next door to bourbon and it was delicious. Unfortunately I’ll probably never go to the Charley’s in the mall because of the poor customer service and service.
Had time to order food at bourbon eat it and 25 minutes later the guy who had walked up behind us before we walked away still hadn’t even gotten his food….and as were walking out he says man I should’ve went to bourbon too.
If the owner or whoever sees this wants to know this all occurred on 7/25/2025 around 11:00-11:30.
I worked service industry for 20 years, my tip to the owner. Check these people out and get some people who want to work.
