I love the food here and always have, but I am dying to know why during my visit I saw the lady who took my order, also cooked my food. I thought “Surely a big chain located in the mall can afford to adequately staff their establishment” then I heard 2 employees in the back, who conveniently came out once the work was done, on their phones. Shame on management for allowing this to happen, I asked for the ladies name before I left to give her some recognition for busting her ass doing 2 jobs, I guarantee she’s not getting paid to do both! Shout out to Helena for being a great employee! I hope she get the recognition she deserves.

Love this place, Charleys in particular never fails to impress. Helena the cashier at the Charleys makes our entire experience so enjoyable, always happy and constantly pleasing customers in an efficient and her service exceeds expectations, excellent customer service with a lovely smile!!!! UPDATE: ABSOLUTELY DISAPPOINTING! The absolute BEST Philly Cheesesteaks{& Chicken Cheesesteaks} EVER!! I’m a Philly Chik and hubby is a LI guy and we’re always wary when a restaurant claims that they make “true/authentic” Philly or Philly~style Cheesesteaks. Charley’s Cheesesteaks actually SURPRISED us!! Just WISH that when you order thru DD that DD stopped with the added charges..it’s quite upsetting when you are told one price and then SURPRISE it’s HIGHER!! I will DEFINITELY be taking that up with DD for sure!! Oh BTW..pretty pls allow “notes~directions”..For example I LUV my onions burnt..reminds me of when my Dad cooked Home~made Philly Cheesesteaks, also pls take out the inside of the rolls..this allows your Steak & fixins to be a little more secure in the hoagie roll, tomatoes & mayo are avail on the Chicken CS but not the Original Philly CS..it’s definitely worth getting extra steak plus extra steak, cheese, & onions{don’t forget adding bacon!}. We’ve never had just the normal serving size..they say they’re “overstuffed” but “ALOT” of places claim that..so we ordered extra..again it’s definitely worth adding extra or extra~extra..yea yea not healthy but take a bite and a very BIG “Yummy”..For a “chain” restaurant it’s a very good surprise..and to be completely honest they’re better than our old fav restaurant{dare I say their name..oh why not?} Johnny D’s located in Cburg. Sorry JD’s..idk what happened but i..we are sadly disappointed with the last phone call when I tried ordering from ya’s. And we were faithful customers & supporters of ya’s for a VERY long time EVEN when I was snubbed! Anyhoo…ty Charley’s!! Update: absolutely disappointing!

Really good food for a good price, though service is lacking. I don’t use ice in my drink as the ice melts and makes my drink awful, which is why I usually request “no ice,” yet my drink is always filled with ice. Quality restaurants listen to their customers.

Charlie’s is and has been a staple of food court dining. Today was no different as my wife and I walked up ready to order our usual. The young woman who took our order, was void of any and all personality and had no sense of customer service. She was rude, and appeared to hate her job. Very dry and when we asked her about condiments, as the condiment bin was empty, she talked down to us as she pointed out the (empty) condiment bin. She then proceeded to grab a handful of packets and throw them into the bin with disgust. When we told McKenzie thank you she walked away without any further acknowledgment..I don’t know what is going on in her personal life maybe she was having a bad day but maybe she should get some retraining on customer service as she works in the service industry.

Ordered uber eats this place is usually great today . My chicken was so stale hard dry they tried to cover it up with an bottle of Buffalo sauce. My son chicken was the same way . My husband bacon 3 cheese was also really dried out. Asked for extra cheese on cheese fries. Not sure how 1 teaspoon of cheese that equals extra cheese. Forgot my son lemonade with his kids meal sorely disappointed. I’ve never seen such sad subs in my life couldn’t stand to eat them was like chewing on leather.

Sub was delicious per usual but couldn’t get over how small our order of large fries, very disappointing and not even able to share like we normally do. The guy who rung us up was friendly, cooks not so much. But again food was delicious.
