We met another couple at your winery for a tasting. We each drove over an hour to get there. The heavy set guy that was working was rude and dismissive. He acted like we were really interrupting whatever he was doing. It was a dry, sparkling tasting and most of them were completely flat and tasted “skunky”. I’m sure they were leftovers from New Years. He didn’t tell us about the wines, or say anything about them, just poured the tasting and walked away. He must be a manager because I read the other reviews that were much like this one, and the responses were very apologetic from the winery, and said how hard you try to make it a good experience, but the guy is still working there. If he were just an employee, he would have been fired. He sure isn’t helping make it a good experience. Why would I ever go back there??

We have enjoyed wine tastings in the past, but today was a major exception. We were not made welcome in any way, in fact we were treated like an interruption. No pleasantries, or information on the “sparkling” wines that were served. If you are serving sparkling wines, those that have completely lost their effervescence should not be served. We have been treated rudely by this server before but gave him the benefit of the doubt and tried again today. We will not be returning again.

My husband and I stopped in yesterday for a couple glasses of wine. Heavyset guy working there completely ignored us, no hello, can I help you. Extremely rude, no excuse for such behavior. Will never stop in there again.

Absolutely fabulous selection of wine and craft beers. I’m going to have to go back to sample some of the cheeses. I don’t remember the name of the lady that helped us but she was very knowledgeable and friendly. The slushies are very refreshing on a hot day. Great atmosphere and vibe in here. Within walking distance of the Honeywell Center so stop in before a show. We will definitely be back!

Update********* We went back to the Wine Shop and were so pleased we had excellent service once again. Thank you Jake for once again providing the diamond standard service we are used to.
So disappointed in the service. Jake has let his customer service slip. We come in and get ignored. Other tables get service even though we were here first. He used to be friendly and show excellent customer service. Hope this is just a bad day and not the new norm.

Very friendly staff and attentive service. She was quick to ask if I needed a refill and more than willing to demonstrate the absinthe ritual or answer any questions we had. This is a cool, quaint little spot. I need to visit again soon!
