Mind Set On Travel
A wonderful dining experience awaits you at Charlestons on South Meridian in OKC. Having the ability to choose from bar seating to table / booth seating in the main dining area is great. They can accommodate large groups and recommend calling ahead to ensure they can accommodate you. The food is great. I got the ribs with carrots and Brussel sprouts while the other evening the Walt’s Chicken Salad was very good. They have daily specials so it’s always a treat to understand what’s available to choose from. You won’t be disappointed.

My son and I had come from a hard day and needed some Charlestons comfort food on the way home. The hostess that sat us was very pleasant. We were immediately greeted by a lady, I didn’t catch her name but she informed us that she was helping our server, Nick, start us off. She got our appetizer and drink order. We saw her several times while we were there. She was very nice and helpful. I don’t know if she was a manager, but if not she should be, haha. Nick came by shortly after she did to greet us. He didn’t skip a beat. He was there absolutely every time we needed something. He read the room 100%, wasn’t overbearing, attentive and efficient. Every staff member moved so fast, they all seemed to be helping each other to make a smooth Saturday night. We decided to get 2 shrimp cargot appetizers at our table and then took a French Dip, Shrimp Scampi and a side salad with champagne vinaigrette to go. The food was perfect. This location in particular really set the standard. Thanks Nick and Charleston’s crew!

This is an excellent restaurant. I had the roasted chicken and my friend had the soup and salad and they were all amazing. We also had the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer and it was delicious. I am a heavy tea drinker and I never got a glass below half. We had Kaitlyn and she was amazing as she served us and I couldn’t recommend this restaurant any higher. I wish there was one in the city I lived in.

Arrived in OKC on Monday and decided not to venture far from the hotel—what better choice than walking across the parking lot to Charleston’s? The place turned out to be a bit fancier than I expected, but absolutely worth it.
The bar service was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and the bartender recommended a local blonde ale that hit the spot. I went for the Dynamite Shrimp Salad (they also offer the shrimp as an appetizer), and let me tell you—this might have been the best salad I’ve had in a long time. Everything about it was fresh and flavorful, and the warm croissant on the side was just as amazing.
I liked it so much I went back the next night for the Blackened Fish Tacos with rice and a house salad featuring their garlic ranch dressing. Another winner.
Prices are a bit on the higher side, but for the quality, service, and atmosphere—it’s well worth it. Highly recommend giving Charleston’s a try if you’re in the area.

Got the Hawaiian ribeye and it was absolutely delicious! The steak was perfectly cooked with a beautiful char, and those crispy onion strings on top added the perfect crunch. The loaded baked potato was generous and fresh – loved the mix of cheese, bacon, and greens.
The cocktails were on point too – that spicy margarita with the tajin rim and the classic martini with olives were both expertly crafted. Great atmosphere and solid execution on everything we ordered. The Hawaiian ribeye is definitely a standout dish – would definitely come back for it!

Our food itself was fine, albeit a bit slower than expected for an empty restaurant. Dessert wasn’t good and was wasted. However, I was shocked at how unfriendly the hostess was coming and going (two different ones). The one who saw us acted like she was furious that we walked in. The one on the way out didn’t say goodbye, thank you for coming etc.
We sat two booths over from the galley way and heard servers cussing and talking very inappropriately. This is 100% not the service I had expected to receive at Charlestons and was embracing for talking this restaurant up to my spouse. Professionalism is lacking. Additionally, a manager walked by our table and didn’t acknowledge us. I have been at much lesser priced places where the manager checks in on you.

My partner & I went on Saturday 10/4 for dinner. Everyone that works there are friendly and work together as a team. I loved seeing that! My partner got the 70z filter and it was delicious. I got the fish tacos and it was one of the best I’ve tried so far. James was our server and he was amazing. Great service!

Okkkkk, sooooo, I would have given 5 stars. Why not? The hostess N…a’s service was not up to par. She was rude, to say the least!! I even took into account that maybe she was having a bad evening. Now Dayana, on the other hand, service was soooooo outstanding!!!! GRAND work with consistency!!! From start to finish, service was very attentive!!! Keep up the good work!

What an amazing place. Found it by checking where to eat that was what was to our hotel. I had the ribs and my husband had the pork chop. The ribs were so easy to pull off the bone. He also had the key lime pie. The whipped cream was so good. So was the key lime part. Everything is made in house.
