Charleston Beer Work is a great place to catch up with friends and have a drink. I personally had the burger and fries, classic bar food. Dozens of beers on tap with a full bar on the main level with bars upstairs and on the patio. I organized an event and hosted it here. Very easy to deal with and the event was a success. Got to know the manager and he is awesome. Returning to CBW soon.

Stopped in at Charleston Beer Works at the Charleston airport before our flight and had a great experience. LaShawn took care of us and was outstanding—warm, professional, and on top of everything. The NY connection was a bonus. We’ll definitely stop again next time through CHS.

Recommendations: It said it opened at 11 am but we were here at 930 and they were open. So check this before you decide not to go here. Also, the breakfast burrito and coffee was good. Chorizo was kind of spicy, but I think water is spicy so take that as you will. Lastly, if the place is full, just get to go orders and eat them by your gate.

Food: the breakfast burrito was good and it came with salsa.

Service: There was an amazing woman working. I did not catch her name. She was all smiles, joking and singing with the music. She greeted everyone and took chucked non-adult drinks out fast. Took our order right away. The space is kind of small but she was taking care of everyone all at once. Not stressed, sweet, kind, and she was working hard. I wish I had service like her at every place I visited. Great person.

Building: The place is within the airport. It’s kind of small and can fill up fast. They offer to-go orders as well.

Bathrooms: no bathrooms but bathrooms for the airport are right next to it. Wasn’t an issue for us.

Parking: Airport parking.

Notes: Do not judge the place by my broken iPhone photos, please.

Hit the thumbs up and give me a follow. I’m trying to be relevant or something. It’s my only bragging rights.

This place at the airport has horrible service (not waitstaff fault – setup the fail). Not one beer available on tap. Food is cafeteria. Asked for boneless wings and they were breaded. Never had a breaded wing before. Should probably disclose that on the menu – should name it chicken tenders ! Prices are way over priced! $13.50 for a beer and almost $10 for a G&T. $42 for wings and 2 drinks! Will not be back !

This cute little spot is just what you need if you have a couple of hours to kill waiting for your flight. Of course the prices reflect airport prices… But that’s to be expected. The server was very friendly and polite and brought our order very quickly. They serve alcohol, small appetizers and things like wings and hot dogs. Food was yum and beer was nice and cold. Would recommend!

We stopped in here on our way to Burlington , VT.2 weeks ago the waiter was amazing and showed us a pastrami sandwich that we could order. We had already eaten at hotel so just had a drink. But on the way back we made sure to stop and get supper and got the southern stacked sandwich. Very good and the waiter was again very good and very good service. So glad we stopped and we will stop again. Hard to find this kind of service and good at an airport bar/ restaurant.

Ordered a bagel with cream cheese for my son at 430am. They forgot the cream cheese and when I asked for cream cheese the cook said she put it in the bag which she didn’t then the bartender/waitress (who was on her phone the whole time) went on to argue with me saying she saw the cook put it in the bag. I showed them the empty bag but she continued to say they already gave me cream cheese. After a minute I finally got the cream cheese. The bartender had her badge flipped around and when I asked her name she wouldn’t give it to me. She was very nice to every other guest besides me.

Paid $33 for the warmest possible beer on draft. Waitress said the problem was fixed AFTER she brought us the check.

First it’s airport food and therefore the review is relative. Service was super fast and the server, Tahnae, was just so pleasant, charismatic and a pure joy to have as a server.

I had the turkey wrap and it was good. My wife had the chef salad and it was well constructed and a decent size.

I’d definitely eat here again.
