I was in town for work and visited here with a group of coworkers, one of whom highly recommended it. We ordered fried pickles, alligator tail, and fried sweet potatoes. The pickles and sweet potatoes were delicious. The alligator tail was fine. It could have used a bit more seasoning. For entrees we ordered grilled salmon, fried shrimp, grilled & fried flounder, and frog legs. We had an assortment of sides – baked potatoes, green beans, coleslaw slaw, salad. The potatoes were pretty good. The green beans could have used more seasoning. I didn’t have coke slaw but the people who did said it was really good. All of the entrees were fine. I had grilled salmon but also tasted the frog legs and they were fine. Flaky like fish but not fishy tasting. They could have used more seasoning. My biggest issue with them was feeling like I had to work too hard for too little reward. Our server was very sweet and attentive. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and while I’m not sure I’d go back next time I’m in town, I’m glad I tried it.

An amazing atmosphere with nice lighting and the most friendly staff. The Red Snapper was top notch and the gator tail was a highlight. I would definitely go back and I’m not from the state. I might even make a special trip back down to Georgia just to visit.

me, my wife & her mother only get fried oysters when we come, because, we LOVE fried oysters and this place does fried oysters SUPER FREAKIN WELL!!!!!!!!!! ALWAYS OUTSTANDING THEY ARE. BUT, THERE’S A BUT………….. my wife ordered oyster stew for the first time and we were SHOCKED it was soooooooooo ho-hum, flavorless, with a ridiculous excess amount of pepper. first time we have EEEEEEEEVER had oyster stew with no flavor, other than a stupid amount pepper. we know oyster stew upside down & all around, we grew up on the shores of the Chesapeake bay. never have we had oyster stew with a ridiculous amount of pepper, picture of soup bowl in this review. 2 drastic mistakes were made with this oyster stew, and the fix is SUPER EASY!!!!!!! (1) there was no old bay or Cajun seasoning in the soup, so add it for God’s SAKE!!!!!! (2) my god, you got all the free oyster liquor in the darn oysters that you fry or bake, use the darn liquor in the soup man. There was LITTLE TO NOOOOOOO LIQUOR IN THIS SOUP, NOOOOOO WONDER THE DARN SOUP HAD NO FLAVOR. easy to fix, put the darn liquor in there!!!!!!!! don’t cost nothing, it comes with oysters people!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE IT, IT’S FLAAAAAVOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NEWS FLASH, NEWS FLASH, ANYONE WHO ORDERS OYSTER STEW WANTS THAT OYSTER FLAVOR, HELLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. $13.99 for a bowl of flavorless FREAKIN oyster stew, we were super shocked and disappointed.

A classic southern seafood joint that is worth stopping for.
Stopped with the family while traveling on a Saturday night and although they were pretty busy, we got seated right away and the food did not take long.
Our waitress was fantastic. Excellent service. Loved her accent too.
We tried the fried crab claws, grouper, catfish, and fried shrimp. It was all great. And would recommend it all.
If you are looking for a classic seafood place that knows what they are doing, this is it. We will be sure to stop here anytime we are in Tifton. A Plus.

A coworker had a childhood memory of going here with his Dad, so we decided to try it. Very unique place to say the least. I got the catfish fingers and they were delicious. He got the grouper. We both tried a piece of each others as well and the grouper was good. Service was attentive and very friendly. No liquor served here but they do have wine and some beers. I would probably go back if I was in the area.

Delicious! My sister’s and I decided to try this restaurant out and we were not disappointed. The serving size will not leave you hungry. I had the flounder and shrimp special and all I can say is “umm umm good!” The coleslaw was delicious , the hushpuppies were nice and fluffy and the cheese grits added a filler. When you go ,and I recommend that you do, have a healthy appetite.

This is a restaurant. It is called Charles Seafood. Upon entering the vicinity of it you will find a parking lot. Within the doors of this business you will encounter seats. One thing many people might not point out about this restaurant is that it has a menu. People work here, and as you can see, they follow their jobs through to completion. The food they serve exists and is edible. The chef is in the back, and he does his job. All in all, this is one of the restaurants in tifton. So if you like places to eat out, this is one.

Top notch fresh seafood at a very affordable price. The service was top notch. I highly recommend the deviled crab and grilled shrimp. The cole slaw and baked potato was outstanding sides.
