This was my first time at their new location. I always loved their food when I visited the old location a few years ago. Service is always great and the cleanliness is always appreciated. So glad they had chicken tenders as a kids option for my daughter. Curry chicken is always great and they guava drink 10/10 recommend!

While in the area, a few people recommended this restaurant so I decided on Saturday while out running errands to grab some food to go. From the moment I walked in I could tell this place was different; very clean atmosphere. I was excited to try the food and I believe it was the owner that helped me. He gave me some options to try and I’m very happy with what I selected…When I got back to the hotel I couldn’t wait to dig in. Ya’ll….every single item was packed with flavor, spice, and great texture! The MVP was the snapper and the Brussel sprouts. I have tried Caribbean food everywhere I go… Hands-down besides home. this is the best Caribbean food I’ve ever had. Respect and blessings to your business sir. Bless up!

So delicious! We came in after the typical lunch time (around 2 pm) so it wasn’t crowded at all, but based on the taste, it should be busy all the time!
I got the curry chicken bowl with coconut rice + cabbage/carrots. It was all so delicious! We also split a beef pastry thing… Can’t remember the name, and it was amazing as well. The meat was all tender and seasoned to perfection. The cabbage and carrots were the perfect crisp addition for the meat and rice. I managed to finish everything and I will try to make my way back in the future.

I was extremely disappointed with my experience. The food arrived cold and clearly had been sitting for a while. On top of that, both meals was overwhelmingly salty, to the point where it was difficult to finish even a few bites. The presentation was also unappealing the dish looked sloppy and unappetizing, which only made the experience worse. Overall, the quality did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend this place based on this visit.
For a better Caribbean experience I would recommend to go three miles west of Broad street.

What a wonderful dinner!! I got the curry goat with spinach rich, cabbage, and plantains. Everything was delicious. Felt like a true, warming, wholesome, home cooked meal. Staff was attentive and kind. Will definitely be returning!

I’ve ordered from here several times since coming to Richmond these past few weeks but this last order made me feel like I was ripped off. I paid 32.44 for a large oxtail dinner with cabbage and plantains took get all the way back to work and see that this isn’t worth 32.44 I have 8 premature baby oxtails charged 1.50 for plantains and they are supposed to be a regular side not premium side. This is crazy

Love this place. Good food, great service and an even better atmosphere. I love to be able to sit outside and smoke a cigar while enjoying a meal and they have the space for it. The food isn’t crazy expensive and it has a good taste of the islands in every bite.
