From the outside; this doesn’t look like your traditional diner. The inside however, is as cute and classic as you can get. Service was friendly and the menu had a nice selection of traditional favorites and some fun specials. I went with a chili cheese omelette and it came with home fries and toast.
I did go in Veteran’s Day so it was packed. I sat at the counter but hopefully next time I can get a table. My seat was at the end of the counter and so there was a lot of back and forth with food going by and dishes being cleared. The wait for my food was around 40 minutes. This felt a bit too longer even with the crowd. The prices were great for the portions and I love this type of local gem. I’ll be bald because I want to try some eggs Benedict or maybe something off the specials menu!!

I loved absolutely everything about this place with one exception. Notice I still give service 4 *s. This place is small in a cozy way and so a wait is expected. We got seated at an open 2 top table as we were smaller than the waiting groups. This was great. Coffee was amazing and came quick and so did top ups, it’s a good thing too because here’s where we had our only issue. After ordering food it took literally 47 minutes to get it. Breakfast food. I totally understand they were busy and also understand that they do take out but we were discussing leaving as our did came to the table. Saved by the bell so to speak. Otherwise the food was fantastic not 50 min wait fascistic tho mind you.

I was looking for a sit down breakfast that served breakfast late on Google, and we found Charlene’s. It’s a great little diner with Coca-Cola cool decor. We watched some Price is Right on TV, super relaxed nice place to eat. Food was fast and everything was great.

I will give it 5 stars because I want ppl to try for themselves. This was my first time visiting. Food was good, not like “oh my god” good but definitely worth the money good. The staff, friendly and courteous which is the most important thing I go for when I try places. It will make or break everything. The prices was fair In comparison to other diners and great compared to breakfast restaurants.
They have other stuff but i only can comment on breakfast.

Absolutely fell in love with this diner. Small but feels like home. Staff was very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I had the corned beef hash combo and the homemade hash they make is phenomenal! Some of the best I’ve ever had. The home fries were seasoned beautifully and the eggs were perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough. The place is decorated in all kinds of Americana with many pieces of vintage Coke items and model classic cars. We are visiting from NC and the food felt like home. I will be back before we head back home.

My friend & I went here to get food & chat, and I’m SO GLAD we did! Neither of us had ever been, but we’re not disappointed. Like most of the other reviewers, I have nothing but good things to say! The food was excellent (blueberry crepes were heaven!). Hash browns were the best I’ve had! Friend & I each got a egg muffin sandwich – mine with sausage & cheese, so good! – with the crepes to share, and loved it all. Coffee was great, as well. Waitress was a sweetheart, & you could tell as she went around speaking to everyone that there were regulars, as well as newcomers like ourselves, yet she made everyone feel at home & treated them all like old pals.
The diner truly has a retro atmosphere, as well as theme. Coke memorabilia is everywhere (even a giant Coke bottle cutout in the bathroom!)!
My friend & I ended up staying pretty long, and chatting till near closing, but we never felt pushed to leave.

Only teeny slight negative I could say is parking can be a bit tricky. If you don’t catch the hidden lot, you drive by, and it can be difficult to go back. There is street parking, though.
But even this is kinda nitpicking.
Great place, & will definitely go back!

Good old fashion diner. Breakfasts were huge and my husband loved the hashbrowns with onions! I loved all the stuff in the diner that I had to look at.

It was the 1st time we had been there, didn’t understand the seating rules, and 2 ladies were mad because we chose an open both. They had been at the counter, we didn’t know they were waiting for the booth. They were rude, we said take our booth there were 2 that emptied at the same time. The servers were very nice and smoother things over with the people. Food was delicious and not expensive at all .
