I heard about this place a couple of months ago and have been eagerly awaiting it to open. The pics on Facebook had me drooling. The hubs and a couple of friends and I decided to make the 32 mile trip to try it. Here is our take on it
The service is top notch. So friendly. So helpful. The prices are great. You get a very good portion for the price. Value is a 10/10. I had the shrimp basket. The shrimp tasted great. No strong taste. Deviened. The batter was so crispy. Fried fresh. So fresh that there was a decent amount of oil under them in the container. Easily corrected by moving them to a napkin. They come with a Ken’s cocktail and tartar. Would def get them again or even a po-boy.
Mike and our friend decided to get a burger and a 12 in philly and split them. Our friends son had a burger. The burger was seasoned well but entirely too thick for all of our tastes. Fresh toppings, soft bun. The Philly has potential but needs seasoning. My husband is a Philly affeciando. All 3 guys said it did but have enough seasoning and not enough cheese. A great bun and good steak that would benefit from some seasoning or even more grilled onions.
Fries: the grease wasn’t hot enough. They were all a bit soggy but the taste was what is expected of a crinkle fry.
The lemonade: fresh. Delicious. Get ya some
The lemon Bundt cake: it’s not a pound cake. It is an incredible Bundt cake. Moist and lemony. Do not leave without a slice.
I think that once the figure out some details, this place is unstoppable. We are not sad we drove 32 miles for this food but look forward to coming another time when we are down this way.

Stopped by on my lunch break and man I must say the club sandwich is the bomb! I also got the raspberry lemonade for my drink and it was so flavorful! I had to go back when I got off work for the chocolate milkshake everyone talks about and now I’m stopping by everyday they’re open lol
