This casual dining restaurant is a new favorite when I’m in the Mount Holly area. If you enjoy vegan food try the white rice and beans with potatoes. If you prefer yellow rice that’s also a great option and very tasty.

So had their Tilapia not that long ago, and oddly it looked exactly like the version Christopher’s Deli and Catering used to have until they hired Chef Zach Womack from Gordon Ramsey’s Hell’s Kitchen and previous Head Chef from Wells Fargo Center. Rumor has it the Chef at Charito’s used to be the Chef at Christopher’s many, many years ago. So it looks like he stole their recipe. Wow!!! That’s pathetic. Other items like rice is so-so and also looks like the Rice Pilaf Christopher’s used to have. I’d recommend heading to Christopher’s and try Chef Zach’s amazing food! You might get lucky and be able to meet him and get his autograph like I did. The Mashed Potatoes there are to die for!

My 1st time stopping here & I am very impressed with the food not to mention how very friendly they were. The empanadas were outstanding. Seriously over packed & flavorful. Not like others that have 2 tablespoons in them & air pockets. Had the yellow rice with beans & pulled pork. Ended up in a food coma. Kudos to the chef. Wish they were closer to me.

Delicious! My sister n law put me on. We ordered at work and everyone loved it. My chicken was moist and flavorful. The rice was so good. The plantains were sweet and cooked just right. My co-workers asked what I was eating because it looked so good. The next day they all ordered. Delivery was fast. Plan to get again real soon!
Update 12/28/18:
This place is starting to be inconsistent. It’s like they can’t handle the influx in business. Lately when I order the rice, it’s drowned in juice from the chicken or other meat I get so I have rice soup. The chicken hasn’t been as seasoned as when I first got it nor has the rice been as flavorful. I’m a little disappointed.
