I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The kebabs were exceptional, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff, especially Abo (I believe that was his name), were professional, courteous, and attentive throughout my visit. One small suggestion would be to consider playing more Iranian music, especially given the number of Iranian customers. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to visiting again.

I tried the food at Charcoal Restaurant House The quality was inconsistent—some dishes were good, while others were not very good. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor and unacceptable.
Making a reservation was a very frustrating experience. They do not handle party reservations professionally, and every time I called, I spoke with a different person who provided conflicting information. At one point, I was told that my reservation was confirmed, but a week later I was informed that no reservation existed. They repeatedly dismissed my calls and showed no accountability or follow-through.
The staff appeared disorganized and disrespectful. They simply take your name without caring or providing proper confirmation, which shows a lack of professionalism and respect for customers. Overall, the atmosphere was very unpleasant.
I do not recommend this restaurant, especially for parties or special events. Based on my experience, their service and management are very poor.

From my understanding they’re under new ownership and they are now open for lunch. At first site I was rather confused at the entrance because no one is there to greet you and there are 2 huge gray doors that don’t exactly communicate “come in”. However, I am so glad I peeked in because I was greeted by very friendly people and a beautiful atmosphere / ambiance, where you can have a conversation, and the music isn’t overpowering nor are other people’s conversations. Good for a couple or groups. They have more than enough seating.
We ordered as an appetizer Jajeek (see pic). We’ve never had it before but dang it was very good. For the main course we ordered the lamb shank and the mixed beef plate (see pics). Delicious doesn’t begin to describe what we were eating.. All the different spices, textures and flavors were a thrill ride for the taste buds. I drank a Diet Coke (my go to) and Omar had an iced tea (see pic) which wasn’t even on the menu but the waitress, Rowa (awesome), made it from what she had available and Omar says it was delicious. There was a LOT of food. So we had to take some home but that was just to make room for dessert…kunafa (see pic)…yummers!!!
Are we coming back? HECK YA and you might want to give it a try too. Reasonably priced for these days of inflationary pressures.

Your food may be good, but you have terrible delivery. Yesterday I was driving west on Chase Avenue when your van came up to me and sat right on my tail. I let off the gas, flashed my brake lights, and he stayed on my tail, even when I was down to 10 MPH! He finally passed me ON THE RIGHT. The road is one lane. I saw when he caught up to the traffic ahead he sat right on their tail also. And as I thought about this later, I remember that he has done this to me before. You better fire him before he causes an accident. “Law brothers?” If any of you order take out, because of this reckless driving, your food might not get delivered!

On Valentine’s Day, we went and I was very disappointed with the service. The appetizers were only one of each dish, when there should have been two, and the dinner was small for 11 of us. There was also a delay in serving the drinks.

I’ve been here for lunch twice now. The food is excellent. I am only deducting a star because service is a little slow. Both times I’ve been here for lunch, the place is empty. They should really advertise more for lunch. Really enjoy this place. Good for large groups.
