We had a baby shower here for our first grandbabies! Twins! Location was great. Room size was large for 60 people. Manager Bryan was awesome and attentive! Wait staff were out going, friendly, attentive, and replenished the food perfectly! Food was hot and tasty. I will host future events here. We did pizza and appetizers. Our guests had a great time.

The food is usually good. I did experience raw Salmon once a few years ago.
The current Manager (Brian) is very rude. I can see why he has a turnover of employees.
He was very verbally abusive to me and makes up inaccurste things. He must have a serious problems to be rude and
does not know how to handle people in a professional manner. He should not be a manager with his personality.
I will never eat their again.
I recommend many other nice restraunts in and around Oak Creek that serve Chicken.

**WARNING** Check your receipt and check your bank or credit card statement if you use a card.
My bill for dinner for four was $100.68. I paid with a credit card. I added a $20 tip and signed the receipt.
About 4 days later, I checked my credit card statement online and saw a double charge on my card. One for $100.68 and another (same date and time but different transaction number) for $120.68. I called the restaurant and talked to the manager on duty and explained the double charge. He said he would email corporate to get the okay to issue a refund and he would call me back before the end of the day. I never heard from him again. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company and they made it right by refunding the duplicate charge.
The Charcoal Grill never did refund the $100.68 they stole from my credit card.

Can’t really give any review on the food as after we were sat, greeted, and ordered water, we then waited 10 (min)-20 minutes for said water before deciding to leave. Server was nice when we were greeted, but then never returned to us. We saw her have a snack, check her phone, and bus another table. Could we have said something? Sure. But there were only about 5 sat tables and 2 other servers so not sure what happened. Having worked in the industry before, I didn’t see any reason for her not returning, and I’m very forgiving. Kinda surprised neither of the other servers checked on us either. We left and we to a pub down the road. I was looking forward to the pulled pork sandwich too.

We were promptly seated on a Sunday afternoon, a little past 4. There were just a few customers inside, pretty quiet.
After our host took us to our table, we waited a good 10 minutes before our server came by. She apologized after asking whether we were being helped by anyone. She was very nice about it, but I did wonder, since it looked like she was the only server working at the time, so who else would be helping us?
It was fine though, since we weren’t in any kind of a hurry and overall enjoying one another’s company.
The Traditional Long Island – $8
menu says “keep the cup!”
In case you’re wondering, it’s a plastic cup, not a glass. Hubby said the drink itself was ok. Whether I can keep the cup or not, though, I don’t like to drink alcohol out of a glass glass, so I’d rather just get the drink in a glass cup that I don’t get to keep.
Chopped Cobb with Petit Fillet – $20
The 5 oz fillet was pretty good and cooked to a perfect medium, though they could have eased up on the salt a bit. The veggies weren’t the most fresh I’ve seen, some wilted, and some with brown spots.The avocado tasted funny. I don’t know how to explain it, but it felt more rubbery (?) than I’m used to, and had a tangy flavor.
Overall, disappointed for a $20 salad. (I’ve found a local restaurant that makes a mean steak salad for $14, with an absolutely heaping mound of fresh greens. I don’t like to compare, but I couldn’t help but do so)

Ribs were OK, and the onion fries were also tasty. Great price! Four pieces are not enough for a grown man, but perfect for me.
There is a sign at the front desk: “we impose a surcharge on credit cards that is not greater than our cost of acceptance.”
There is another one that says “We impose a surcharge of 3% on the transaction amount on credit card products which is not greater than our cost of acceptance.”
Lingo sounds very legal, but basically means they will charge you 3% for using a credit card. Pretty cheap for a restaurant of this size if you ask me.

Baby Shower! Great location for an event! The manager Bryan was so awesome and attentive! The waitresses, were excellent; outgoing, friendly, attentive, and kept everything replenished! Food was fresh, hot, and tasty!! Thank you Charcoal grill for providing us with a perfect location to host the baby shower we envisioned for our new twin grandbabies. Everything was excellent from start to finish.

Hadnt been to a charcoal grill in a long time use to be on of our favorites. Not so much anymore. No mention of the fix it bar until we asked for things. Such as bbq sauce, pickles. As far as food rotisserie chicken was dry, mashed potatoes were soupy, fries were not hot. I felt that the Chili was good.

I had a great experience at The Charcoal Grill in Oak Brook! The food was delicious. I had a burger and it was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. What really made the visit stand out was my server, Taylor. She was amazing, so sweet, attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed the entire time. Great service and great food. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I decided to try this place again after a few years .. and yet again disappointed.. our server was okay … the host (idk if he was the manager) simply acted like he didn’t want to be there..bad attitude and just meh .. so, the beef ribs came out literally cold to the touch when cut … the mixed veggies were okay but the green beans still hard.. but, let me tell you about the steak .. I ordered sirloin as their filet was sold out .. that piece of meat came out so charred and dry .. no oil .. no juice .. no butter or seasoning at all !!! I was so surprised cuz how did they cook it ? Well, just my experience with this place .. it was a huge disappointment with the amount of $ we spent especially. Will not be returning or recommending
