Don’t pass this place by and when Emily recommends the chicken fry, listen to her. Very delicious, Salad and curly fries. Don’t let the parking lot fool you. This is the real deal American restaurant and you’ll be glad you stopped in. Sorry for the empty plat pic, it was that good

We stopped here not sure what to expect. The girls were so helpful and friendly. I am strict low carb gluten free they were really helpful with guiding me through the menu. They even brought out bottles so I could check labels. BBQ was tender, moist and delicious. If you are craving BBQ You cant go wrong here!

Service is great. Atmosphere is cramped and dingy. Food is passable, but priced high. Example: $6 “armadillo eggs” appetizer gets you one jalapeno cut into six slices, each wrapped with a third of a strip of bacon. This is a single jalapeno popper cut into six $1 bites. Where the portions on other dishes are sometimes better, the flavor is generally worse. Have been twice, hoped the first time was a fluke. It was not.

Not hungry? Doesn’t matter – it’s THAT good! There were 9 in our party & service was fast & outstanding! No problems with any of our orders! Brisket, catfish, Quesadillas, Wraps – it was all good… of course, I was partial to the catfish & hush puppies!

Overall, I really like this place. Service was great. Atmosphere was also very good. The menu looks amazing. I had the brisket and smoked sausage. The brisket was pretty flavorless and the sausage seemed like it was steamed so it was soft.

I was very disappointed in the food there this time. It used to be much better. I had a brisket sandwich with au jus and cheese potato logs. The potatoes were under cooked for my liking and had little flavor. The brisket was tasteless and dry. Some salt or seasonings might have helped it but it just didn’t taste like brisket at all.

A nice calm spot just off of 71. Ate a nice home made meal in under an hour. Pork Mac wrap was a perfect gooey inside with chunks of pork and a crispy tortilla. Brisket burger was also delish.

DELICIOUS and FAST!!!
I was extremely surprised with their Asparagus.
I have lived in different places in Europe and ate expensive and fancy asparagus in Italy, but this place really knows what they are doing with it; it was cooked to perfection!
The service was just outstanding! The attendant had incredible attention to details, she asked me how crunch I wanted my fried Okra!

Well the steak wasn’t what i expected it had a weird taste to it the beans had to much smoke flavor to them made them smell like an ashtray. The only that tasted good was the fries and toast.
