Delicious fish and chips made fresh in a beautiful location – at the end of the pier. Can’t ask for much more than that. Very kind people working here and decent prices for what it is. Loved eating our meal on some of the tables outside Char West overlooking the ocean!

I ate here while visiting Stearns Wharf one afternoon. Food was OK, cooked fresh, and served with a smile. I ate the Gordo burger which has two patties and was good, cooked juicy with fresh topping ingredients.

The boardwalk was very peaceful and the Pacific Ocean is gorgeous. The scenery and atmosphere is perfect. The staff is nice as well. The food was good. Gordo burger is two patties and the patties were juicy but not greasy juicy.

This is a one of a kind location with great food and service. We arrived just before the end of breakfast at 11 a.m., and they quickly loaded the grill and accommodated all seven in our party. They were very fast and courteous, and the food was very good. Char West has stood the test of time with its consistency and great service.

There was three of us and we all got one of the daily specials. The TriTip Sandwich on the daily special was the worst TriTip Sandwich that I have ever had. Another person had the TriTip Tacos, they were so bad that she couldn’t finish them. I cannot recommend this place at all.
