Back in 2022, we went here and had a great time during the time of the shut down. The service was kind, the food tasted great, overall it was one for the books! If I posted a review back then it would have been a 5 out of 5, unfortunately that wasn’t the case recently in 2026. Yesterday we went there to celebrate my mother – in – laws birthday and when we got there the waitress did not make it a pleasant experience. She was harsh toned and short with taking our orders. She was disrespectful to my children and to my wife and my father in law how she spoke to him when setting the food on the table. When we received the bill, we saw the automatic gratuity and I am aware it says that on the menu, but I believe that a tip is earned and a thank you forgood. I work hard for my money, I just now

When we received the bill, we saw the automatic gratuity and I am aware it says that on the menu, but I believe that a tip is earned and a thank you for good service and that is not what we received. I work hard for my money, I went up to the front desk to get it taken off, we asked to speak with the manager and our waitress told us 3 or 4 times that there was no manger on shift, she finally got someone in charge and they helped take it off. I am all about giving tips, just not for any kind of service.
Upon entering, the ambiance wrapped around me like a familiar melody, evoking a sense of comfort. The service, though unhurried, seemed to encourage a leisurely pace, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the experience. Our server, despite the bustling environment, exuded warmth and genuine care, embodying the dedication often found in those who serve.
Adjacent to our table, a lively group engaged in animated conversation, their exuberance adding a vibrant energy to the room. While their enthusiasm was palpable, it occasionally overshadowed the otherwise serene atmosphere. Such moments serve as gentle reminders of the diverse tapestry of human interaction that communal dining brings together.
The cheese curds arrived as golden morsels of joy, their crispy exteriors giving way to molten centers that delighted the palate. The homemade ranch, albeit thick, added a comforting richness to each bite.
Opting for the smothered chicken as my main course felt serendipitous. The generous portion, seasoned and cooked to perfection, was accompanied by a baked potato that, though firm, reflected the occasional imperfections that make dining experiences uniquely memorable.
My companion, Jim, found satisfaction in the Chapz burger—a towering creation lavishly adorned with beer cheese. Its saucy exuberance served as a gentle nudge to embrace life’s messy, flavorful adventures without hesitation.
As we departed, a realization settled within me: Chapz Roadhouse offers more than just a meal. It’s a testament to the beauty of shared experiences, where diverse energies converge, and where the essence of dining transcends the food itself. In the grand tapestry of life’s journey, this experience has woven a thread of warmth and appreciation that will linger in my memory.
Ashame because we heard the steak was good there from locals and we all had a taste for some delicious red meat.
Lose lose … Think outside the box, crude snobby hostess…
