I had an amazing experience! The prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.

It’s not always easy to find a place that combines great pricing, excellent service, and outstanding food, but this place truly delivers on all three. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

We stopped here every time we come to Gatlinburg. Best tacos anywhere!!! so when you pull up it looks like it’s part of the gas station but it is not. Just go in it’s worth it.

We dined in about a week ago and had such a great meal! The food was hot, fresh, and made to order. The portions were a great size for what you pay. The restaurant was clean. The staff was kind.

Do not be fooled because this is next to a gas station. This is the best Mexican food I have had in many many years!

This was my first time at this location and wasn’t disappointed. I had their special, Mexican Bowl, today and it was super flavorful and quite a bit of food. I wish it would have come with Chips but this is just a personal preference. I could have gotten chips if I wanted but it was still delicious without.

The booths are not very big so if you need to sit with your entire group, I would recommend no more than 4 or 5 people depending on size per booth. Either way, it was a great dining experience!

Wow… hidden little authentic Mexican stand with amazing tacos and sides… I ordered an Al Pastor Taco and Carnitas taco both on corn tortillas… along with chips and Salsa, guac, and queso… oh, and don’t forget the glass bottle Mexican Coke… all for around $20… I was very pleased and would highly recommend to anyone in the area … if not, you are really missing out!!

How have I missed this amazing place?! Very friendly vibe. My food was exceptional. I had the quesabirria, which was nothing short of luscious. I caught myself moaning when I took my first bites. I also tried the yummy mahi taco. Their queso dip was incredible, far above any I’ve tasted locally. The owner even taught me how to make horchata! I will definitely be back often with friends and family.

I was looking for excellent Mexican food in the Knoxville area for 2 years now. I believe I have now found the best in Knoxville area and as good as any Mexican in Houston, Dallas, and Chicago. I have not found any Mexican food here that compares well to Chapulines.

I have eaten there several times in the past 6 months. I have found their food to be consistently very fresh and well made.

The only item I had a bad experience with was their fish Tacos. They were disappointing. I will try them again to see if the chef was having a bad day.

If you can get over the restaurant being in a gas station you will be rewarded with the most amazing Mexican food experience I have had in the Knoxville area.

It’s so good, when my Son came in from Wisconsin and we went there he agreed it was the best Mexican he has ever had and that I could buy him lunch for the week he was visiting us.

Try it, I think you will like it.
