Staff is efficient and courteous. Food is average bar food, a lot of frozen fried foods. Drinks are very watered down and/or overly iced. $15 got me 5 sips of alcohol.
Drink recipes are stripped down. My Long Island Ice Tea was disappointing.
Old Fashioned was missing ingredients that would have made it a good Old Fashioned.
If it wasn’t for being invited to celebrate an occasion, I would not come back to this place.

A review is long overdue, We go to Chaps on a regular basis. Chaps is one of those few places that always is 100%. The food is always top notch and the portions are always large. The restaurant has real bartenders, their cocktails are always balanced and taste great. The employees are super attentive. If you want a great meal and good drinks for a reasonable price stop by Chaps Taproom you will not be disappointed.

Food was mediocre at best ordered the French dip, the sandwich was two skinny pieces of greasy beef on a hoagie roll with onions. I still ate it but it was not what I was expecting.

Nice size dive bar. They have a nice size menu and ample parking in their parking lot.
I ordered only appetizers and they were all good. I tried my friend’s wings with boom boom sauce and mozzarella sticks which were also tasty. I ordered the buffalo chicken flatbread and cheesesteak egg rolls. Although they were tasty, there could be some adjustments.
The buffalo chicken flatbread could use more hot sauce and blue cheese/ranch. The cheesesteak rolls could also use more cheese.
Service was excellent!

Their cheesesteaks and fries were great with fast service and nice atmosphere!!! The only reason I rated just under 5 stars is because I haven’t tasted other foods on the menu yet!!

Visited 7/4/25 8:30 Pm I have been a repeat customer for years, my experience tonight will definitely keep me from coming back. The prime rib was so dry and rhe texture was off putting. But the worst was we observed two mice having full run of the dining area. I alerted staff but they seemed completely unconcerned. I know if I see two in the dining area there is plenty more in food storage and prep area’s. I will not be returning to this establishment

Food is above average. Nice clean place to hang and watch a game. Plenty of taps to keep a craft beer drinker interested, and a pretty good take out selection. One of my personal favorites in the area.
