Sat 8 mins ignored by all staff while new walk-ins where taken care of.
Finally a waiter from outside realized I haven’t been served at the 8 min mark.
Placed complete order while talking to waiter.
Cheeseburger and diet coke with fries.
Drink brought out at 10 waiter kind to offer free cookie for troubles.
Was able to walk outside to smoke while I waited for food.
Atmosphere seems cool just not sure if it’s my age or impatience with ordering food and service workers now adays. Not speaking from privilege worked countless hours doing the same. The server a young gentleman seemed kind and professional only reason I didn’t walkout earlyer. Main reason for trying this place was I was waiting on another adult I dropped off for an appointment. The establishment seems well suited for a quite place to eat and catch up. Food at 17 mark server was awesome.
Eating here alone though is boring so I just watched some old man clean the fish tank.
Food rating doesn’t seem bad burger patty could use some love but not overall bad. 14.96 for diet coke and cheese burger with fries left tip and left.

I visited this restaurant 2/8/2025 with a few friends. We had coffee and breakfast and everything was amazing. Our waitress was S. Grace and she was lovely and was very professional. She made our dining experience nice, she gave us recommendations and everything was great. When I am in town I will make sure that I return.

Chappy’s is a staple in Montgomery AL. Every time we visit we stop by for a sandwich. We are vegetarian and they have one of the best Veggie Delight sandwiches I have tasted. The customer service is always friendly and very attentive. Service time is great. We always order ahead. If ever in this area Chappy’s is a stop you won’t regret.

Very busy lunch here. Food was very good, service was good at the beginning but went downhill. We agreed to sit at little table at the end of the aisle right by the kitchen. Many servers did not respect my companion’s space by brushing her shoulder and back as they passed. Not acceptable. Will not be seated there again.

Passing through town on our way from Florida to Georgia. We wanted something unique and not fast food. We did a quick Google search for restaurants in Montgomery and found Chappy’s Deli. We called in our order and picked up inside. WOW. Every one of our meals were delicious. Highly recommend The Cuban! My buddy had The Windy City and loved it. One of us also had the Double Cheeseburger and he loved that as well. Nothing wrong here! Definitely suggest you try this place out!

The french dip was good, but i think they accidentally spilled the au joux sauce on the bun so it was soggy and falling apart.

The club was a good size and you have the option to add meat which is cool.

Hostess was quick to enter the parking lot & extremely friendly! If it wasn’t for the drive back I would have asked for my money back! Most TASTELESS pancakes and grits & eggs I’ve had! I could have had the hotel breakfast free or used IHOP points for free pancakes! It had a nice rating so I was looking forward to GREAT PANCAKES AND GRITS! Live & learn! Everyone had different tastes but this was disappointing! $20 wasted! I had 3 bites!

Excellent place. I was an outta-towner looking for a sandwich and this popped up. I gotta a dbl meat sandwich and a dessert. The sandwich was very good and well portioned even though I did get a dbl meat. The dessert was great. I was surprised they were made in house. Regardless, very affordable and a nice selection of both. The service was on point. I wish we had one on the panhandle. I’d probably be broke. Hopefully I’ll pass through again one day. ☆☆☆☆☆

Chappys’s was fantastic as always. Everything served fast, fresh and hot. Server was very attentive and welcoming, and my Grilled Club Platter was simply scrumptious! From the finely cut deli style turkey and ham, to the crisp yet chewy bacon smothered in melted cheddar cheese, I savored every bite of my sandwich! The sides of chips and potato salad complimented it superbly. I HIGHLY recommend the Grilled Club Platter, a definite must for lunchtime

Food was good but my hotel was only 4 minutes away literally and everything was cold. Fries had been sitting as I heard the exchange of conversation through someone I could only guess was being trained and the manager. Kids burgers were burnt to a crisp and the amount of soup for price was unbelievably small. Still going to try again but maybe as a sit down experience.
