Great little breakfast/lunch spot in town. Tasty specials, breakfast sandwiches are solid, and the baked goods are delicious! Love having Chappy’s in our community ❤️

Best burgers and fries around! I absolutely love Suzan and her staff, it’s awesome to walk in and be addressed by my name. The food is fantastic from the lobster rolls on Sundays, the chicken tenders and best steak bombs around. This is the real deal. Good food from hard working people who love their community and treat you like a neighbor.

The food is really good. Prices are reasonable.

Here is the issue. I love supporting small hole in the wall businesses. I work in the food service industry at a family owned and operated deli market. I was really taken aback by the unprofessional and quite honestly childish manner I was treated with.

I had gone in for breakfast take out. The lady at the counter was straight business and I was left feeling I was inconveniencing her. When I got home I discovered I did not get an item I had paid for; it happens.

Later this evening I returned to order dinner for ourselves and some friends. A different lady at the register was nice and as always offered a smile as she greeted me (I’ve been there before and this is the normal experience) I explained about the item earlier, and stated I was just letting them know. I wasn’t complaining, I didn’t ask for anything, and obviously I had returned to order from them again regardless.

After my order was taken and I had paid, the woman from earlier came over and the lady who took my order informed her about my order from earlier, and that I said I just was letting them know. She replied “I don’t care” and walked off. As she walked off she was running her mouth saying if I wanted to complain I should have done it earlier, not 5 hours later. She then proceeded to give me a stern stare as if she hated the site of me.

Seriously??? Act like the adult you are. I appreciate any notification of errors that occur with orders so we can work to prevent them in the future. Is it a matter to be addressed, or just a fluke mistake (Again, it happens). The food business is all about quality, presentation and service. Bad reviews can ruin a business, poor service to paying customers can make for ex-customers and lack of being referred to others.

There was no reason for her conduct. I am only leaving this review because I felt there was no proper way to address the conduct in the moment without it escalating. Again, really good food.

My husband and I went here after hiking mt. Cardigan… And were so pleasantly surprised. We expected typical diner food.. decent food that is made from frozen food but still edible and tasty. Nope. To our amazed surprise it was all homemade. And it wasn’t just tasty, it was out of this world delicious. I highly recommend this place and I know that when we come by to hike cardigan again we will eat here again. Absolutely loved it!

have been here a few times normally foods great was there this weekend the little blonde was our waitress . i was halfway through my plate and found a fingernail (like a glue on fingernail in my food it was the same color and filed into a tooth shape? not sure if it was a joke but it made me sick) i will never come back and none of my family or friends will.
other then this weekend i have had good experiences but it only takes one finger nail to make me not come back.

Hands down, the best Steak & Cheese and the best grilled cheese and ham I’ve had in my long memory. And, amazingly, it doesn’t smell like grease and fried foods inside! You think that’s a low bar? Maybe, but it makes a huge difference to me. The decor is lovely – down to earth, interesting, artistic but not artsy-crafty, unpretentious. And of course the staff are lovely! My only regret is that we didn’t try it sooner. Well have to make up for that with frequent trips from now on!
