Simply delicious! This place instantly reminds me of the way my grandmother used to cook back home. Every bite is pure, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine made with love and tradition.
It’s the kind of spot you dream about finding — a true hidden gem that saves you the trip to New York or Puerto Rico itself. If you want real-deal arroz con gandules, pernil that falls off the bone, and mofongo that hits the soul, come here. You won’t be disappointed! ❤️

For beginners my apologies because i am not in the habit of giving bad reviews..Ever! However, i have to say that I was extremely disappointed since this was my first time ordering from here. Being Dominican and knowing first hand how good Puerto Ricans can cook (specially on the island) i was not impressed in the least with the sorullitos, the alcapurria, and especially Not with my tostones con chicharrón de pollo . First of all, los sorullitos were super skinny and small; the alcapurria was not the usual oval shaped ones stuffed with meat. This one was long and thin and left me asking ‘wheres the beef’..SMH..and then the chicharrones could have used more flavoring and the tostones were dark, too crispy and over-cooked..thats a definite No-NO to a Dominican!! ‍♀️ i dont mind paying for my meals but i expect good tasting Spanish food with real Flavor as we know it. Since it was delivered i cannot rate the atmosphere itself nor the rest of the food they offer. But Sadly i dont think I’ll be eating here again. Sorry. But try it for yourself maybe your experience will be different ‍♀️

To find an authentic Puerto Rican restaurant owned & operated by a woman fills my heart as well as my belly 😉
The cutest small place, clean, bright, and decorated to represent its culture, my culture (father’s side). As you walk in the smells hit you, then you see the glass refrigerator stocked with octopus salad, seafood salad, potato salad and dessert followed by the hot stand loaded with the daily specials. The prices are SO reasonable!
The owner herself is serving and she is delightful, attentive and accommodating, very nice.
Now for the food which was everything I wanted & more. Rice was perfect & fluffy, meat was tender, sweet plantains fried to perfection, and creamy potato salad OMG. The dessert was wonderful with the right amount of sweet.
This was the first but definitely not the last visit to this little gem 😉

I came here for the first time and unfortunately the experience was not good. I ordered the “daily special” Pernil with yellow rice and tostones. It was supposed to come with sweet plantains but I was told that “they didn’t have anymore”, which I thought was strange because when I was there they had been only open for 1 hour, so how are they not prepared if they literally just opened? The meat was extremely salty and didn’t have any real flavor, just tasted water and salt. The rice and tostones were bland. Overall the pernil was terribly salty which gave me a migraine that lasted all day. I would’ve sent the pernil back but I was starving and needed food immediately. The legs on the table were uneven and my table kept wobbling, it was very annoying. There was no soap in the bathroom. The bathroom door lock was busted and there was a huge hole right next to the toilet which is a dangerous ankle breaker!! There was no warning or caution sign over the hole, someone could get severely injured because it’s not noticeable until last second. I was the only customer eating in the restaurant and the waitress didn’t come up to me and ask me if the food was okay, nor did she ask me if the food was alright when I was paying. I would’ve explained to her my feedback. I didn’t enjoy the food, the service, or the atmosphere (extremely salty food, no soap, hole in floor, busted lock on bathroom, wobbly table, poor service). Would not recommend.

I pass this place all the time and decided to order for delivery today. I got the roasted chicken with white rice and beans and it was delicious! The portion you get for the price is great. Will be ordering from here again!

Very good food, the owners/family working there were very nice. Chicharrones might take a while but all of their food is freshly made. Got mofongos instead. Good prices, very kind.

My first time going to this place. I fall in love with it. I spend $$ just because I keep ordering food to go but it’s worth the price. The food is delicious.
