My boyfriend played a show here the other weekend and he brought me back here on our vacation. Can we just talk about how delicious their clam chowder is? Like wow. They have pieces of bacon in it and it’s not overwhelming. It’s so delicious. They offer a cup, bowl, or a quart. I got the 1 1/2lb lobster which was only $30 yesterday (obviously the market prices change all the time so make sure to ask) and my boyfriend got the fish and chips. The food was so delicious and the staff was great.

Chapin’s Fish and Chips is a solid go-to for classic Cape fare with a family-friendly vibe. The food was good across the board, and the service was attentive and welcoming from start to finish. The quahog was a real standout—flavorful and perfectly cooked. The peanut butter mudslide is the best!!!
We tried the special sampler, which included a creamy chowder, fresh shrimp cocktail, and a deliciously stuffed quahog—definitely a great way to try a little bit of everything. The kids’ chicken fingers were a hit too, with generous portion sizes. We also had a wedge salad and truffle fries, which were decent, though nothing to write home about.
The outdoor seating area is lively, fun, and perfect for families. It’s clearly a popular spot, so we’ll be sure to plan ahead next time to enjoy that atmosphere. All in all, a great Cape Cod stop with classic seafood and unbeatable summer vibes.

Everything was delicious!! We waited a long time to get a table (almost 2 hours) but we could get some drinks before to eat. The atmosphere was nice indoors and outdoors. Excellent music and bands! (Just too loud inside so nobody can talk). But they have the best seafood. Different choices of sides and fresh and healthy too (broiled cod yummy!!!) and the prices are good!!

My wife and I stopped in while on vacation. When we walked in, there were plenty of employees around — at least 10-12— but very few customers. We were seated all the way in the back of the restaurant, away from everyone else, which felt a little strange. The table behind us was clearly used and hadn’t been cleaned, with food all over the carpet beneath it.
Our server, Zack, was the highlight of the visit. He was kind, timely, and checked in right when we needed him. He seemed to be one of the only staff actually working — wiping down tables, stocking condiments, and taking care of guests — while most of the others were just sitting or standing around doing nothing.
We ordered drinks and the Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer. We’ve had this dish many times at other places and it’s always been tossed in sauce. Here, it came as fried shrimp with tails still on and just sauce drizzled on top — disappointing compared to what we expected.
After that experience, we decided to just have the appetizer and drinks and head elsewhere for dinner. Zack did a great job, but the overall cleanliness, presentation of food, and lack of effort from the majority of the staff left us underwhelmed.

All of your staff members were attentive and professional throughout the evening, ensuring that every detail was handled seamlessly. The cocktails, raw bar, appetizers, and buffet were all excellent.

USED to be a favorite place to get a tasty meal & refreshing cocktail. What happened? Food is disgusting. Out doors used to be attractive- dead plants , filthy floors. Waited 40 minutes for food to then be told the order was forgotten. 5 minutes later stone cold fish tacos with soggy cold French fries. 2 Valets were standing like gate guards to park our car when there was only 8 cars in the whole place. Looking for the tip. We easily could have parked ourselves or they could have directed us. Restaurant comped the cold food, had to still tip the waitress as it wasn’t her fault. So went away hungry, paid food bill for friend who had an equally disgusting meal, had to tip a valet and a waitress for nothing. Food was disgusting. Tried to call & their phone system doesn’t work. No email options. Feel badly posting a bad review but it’s expensive to eat out. Go somewhere else!

Zach did a great job. Was attentive and stayed busy. Can’t say the same for the rest of the staff who were talking about volleyball and just hanging around.
The bang bang shrimp was weird in that it was prepared with the tails on as well as not tossed in a sauce. Additionally only 7 shrimp was provided. Seems small.

Waited 50 min for order at 2pm on a Tuesday. Not busy only 5 other tables. Tons of waitstaff. Food was gross. Soda and seltzer water flat. Paid $39 for a hot lobster roll which looks like they deep fried it as the lobster meat was actually hard in places and there was orange grease all over the roll… think greasy pizza. Never again.

Food was decent though one dish our party ordered had to be redone it was cooked so poorly but even after doing it better, it was still bad the second time. Credit to them that they took it off the bill so no real complaint. Overall service was great. Atmosphere was nice with live music and plenty of options for seating. However, parking lot is way too small for the place some that part can be a nightmare.
