Stopped by for a quick taco for snack. The staff was helpful, service was quick, and price was reasonable.
The carne asada street tacos were delicious, especially with the topping from the salsa bar. It’s interesting no tomatoes based salsa, but it was great with cucumber slices.

It’s nice little spot for Guatemalan food. They do carry American food too and a kids menu. Definitely authentic, the plananos are delicious, the rellenos de platano are really good.
I bought some atol de elote which is piping hot when given to you. I prefer mine to be a little thicker but it was delicious nonetheless.
I recommend this place, run by a family and the food is very much feels like your grandma cooked it. I plan to come back and try the pacaya.

What a gem! Our usual Taco Tuesday spot was unexpectedly closed today, so we tried Chapin 502–so glad we did! The $1.79 street tacos are no joke. They were cooked fresh for us, and were overflowing with meat. We even got to add our own toppings and salsa at the salsa bar. The service was exceptional—both employees were very kind and welcoming. Plenty of parking outside and plenty of tables inside. The rest of the menu looks promising too, so I will have to visit on a non-Tuesday. 🙂

Finger licking gooooood sopa. If you haven’t tried this soup yet I highly recommend it. This place has a home cooked feeling to all of their dishes. I usually come for the tacos but wanted something soothing and warm.

Chapin 502 is our new favorite Gutemalan/ Mexican food spot. The food is excellent just like family home cooking. The owner is very friendly and greets you with the warmest smile. They have a salsa bar for your tacos with slices of lime, pickled onions, cucumbers and onion n cilantro. We ordered a Caldo de Res, Shrimp Burrito and a Breakfast Huevos a la mexicana, all were delicious. We will definitely coming back soon.

The Al pastor was delicious as was green and avocado salsas. Mark of a good Mexican restaurant is their beans and rice. They were really good, tasted homemade. Can’t wait to go back and try the Guatemalan foos.

In a city full of taquerías, it’s hard to be exceptional. This place definitely is! Possibly the best al pastor I have ever had, and that alone is saying a lot. Spotlessly clean, and a warm, modern vibe. I will be heading back next week for taco tuesday – see you there!
