The food is good. Onion soup is super flavourful. Waited for quite some time for our main to be served after the entre, had to signal the waiter to serve it. The steak is a bit difficult to chew. The lady owner helped us to pack the left over fries.

This was absolutely my favorite restaurant in all of the Paris area. The service was amazing. The food tremendous, the wait staff was so gracious and very patient with practicing our French. And for the price, you get big portions. Make sure to get Beef bourguignon. Highly recommended.

Had a great time with tasty good food on a very hot summer afternoon. We all loved the onion soup and other items such as steak and frites in this restaurant. We were sitting at the corner and it was a little too hot for us. Fortunately the fan was turned on toward the end of our lunch, and that helped us to cool down.

The duck breast was absolutely amazing. The waiter was incredibly kind making sure the sauce was not made with any mammal bone broth- as I have a life threatening allergy to any meat except poultry.
The atmosphere is beautiful, the music is serene, and the staff is wonderful. It was the best last meal before heading back to the USA.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in France so far. My wife and I went to dinner, the waiter was extremely friendly and helpful with the menu and spoke good English (always a plus for an American!).
The food was absolutely delicious. I had the catch of the day, a seared white fish over vegetables and sweet potatoes, with a raspberry sauce.
The food was so good we came back the next day for lunch. Another amazing server, very friendly and kind. Absolutely recommend Chapeau!

I visited CHAPEAU restaurant in France and really loved the experience! The food was delicious, the decoration was beautifully done, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. I was served by Dida (Rim), who was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Highly recommended — an excellent experience from start to finish!

Looking for lunch at an off hour on Monday, Chapeau was open and turned out fantastic. Great burger, great kids meal, and excellent Caesar salad. Totally worth the stop, very close to the Versailles Palace and associated shops and pubs.

Wonderful dinner, great cocktails (recommend the Napoleon)! Started with the Burrata des Pouilles which we enjoyed. Magret de Canard (duck) was excellent, and the poultry dish was great too! Made a reservation for the next night before they brought the check. One of the best meals we had during our two week trip in France.
UPDATE: Did in fact return the next night, and had Salade de gambas and Le Burger du CHAPEAU (and the burger was THE best burger I had in France over 2 weeks). Absolute perfect final dinner for our 2 week vacation, and if ever back in Versailles would absolutely be back!!

Had a good time here. Its super close to the palace. The people working here where exceptionally friendly and could speak good English. They have the menu in french, English, spanish, Italian, german, Portuguese and chinees.
I thought the onion Soup had a bit too much cheese (it was almost 50% cheese) and the bread we got was kinda old. The rest was all perfect.

-Duck breast was full of tendonds. I couldn’t cut it properly. Service told us with fake smile that it is normal.
