A true gem in our area. Charging for more then one refill in 2020 is an interesting approach, but it the naan bread and curry are amazing for a buffet.

On a hunger strike? Have a curious death wish to die by starvation? Then this is the restaurant for you! We were seated at 5:30. By 6 no one had taken our order so we flagged down the waiter and explained we had theater tickets at 7, so could we please order and get our food for take out if he was too busy to serve us. He said sure and took our order. Then disappeared. At 6:30 we hunted him down and he admitted our food hadn’t even been started yet! So we left with very empty tummies that growled through our whole play. If they were that busy (which there were many open tables) and knew they wouldn’t be able to serve us, they should’ve said so up front so we could’ve had dinner elsewhere. Dine here at your own risk of starvation!

Delicious Indian buffet. I’ve been there twice now for lunch, and I have been pleased both times. They offer a nice variety of dishes. I love that there are plenty of vegetarian options available, and I’ve seen chicken, beef, and goat dishes as well. Today I had a delicious and somewhat spicy cauliflower curry that I haven’t seen at other Indian restaurants – nice surprise!
If you are in Northfield and hankering for Indian food, I’d stop here.
Someday maybe I will look at a real menu and order off that, but so far there has not been a need.

Great little find!! Love the town setting, and atmosphere! The food was fantastic! Will definitely be returning. Had one of the traditional curry dishes, (Makhani with chicken) and it was great! Garlic naan was good, but could’ve been a little warmer and more buttery for my taste. Overall, everything was excellent!

Absolutely wonderful Indian food. We had some friends from India visit, we ate there and they said it was authentic. They also have a great lunch buffet so if you don’t know what kind of Indian food you like you may like to try it, it’s a good way to sample the food. Nice location in downtown Northfield with pleasant staff.

The food is pretty good here, but I had 2 infuriating experiences in a row. The customer service is terrible, and the owner was rude to me on 2 separate occasions. I do not recommend the restaurant.

The first night, there was no one available to seat us because the entire restaurant staff (including the owner) were trying to catch up with orders. There were several people waiting for over 45 minutes with not even a ‘hello.’ I was unimpressed with the owner as well, when I went to find her. She said ‘you just have to wait.’
The second time we arrived 30 minutes before closing for the lunch buffet. We were chatting with some friends, when the owner said ‘go to the buffet, or you will not get food today.’ I found this extremely rude and gave her this feedback, which she had no response to.
I think this also speaks to bad management — if she wanted to close, why not set the closing half an hour earlier expecting people to overstay a bit? I have never been to a restaurant that refused to feed me in this way.

Great service and great meal! I can’t handle much spice and went with the chicken korma- perfectly sweet and savory. They had many options with different spice levels. I can’t wait to do their lunch buffet to try even more !
