I love Cherokee Street, you almost can’t go wrong with whatever Mexican restaurant you choose to visit. Had the taco salad from Chaparritos, and I was delighted with the big slices of veggies. My strawberry Margarita on the rocks was great. It’s a small space restaurant, but customers are aware of that and didn’t sit long after their meal, at least during my visit.

Chaparritos is a great little Mexican restaurant on Cherokee. It reminds me of being in México. I’ve ordered both carne asada and carnitas tacos and enjoyed both. And, just like in México, I ordered two tacos and was served enough to make three or four. They also make a nice Rum-chats and I’ve heard their Michelada is good too.

The food was fantastic, I’d recommend Cchaparritos to anyone craving Mexican. (The cheese dip was too watery for my personal taste)

Food was outstanding, but not so much for the margarita. The staff was friendly and service was great.

Tamales are great, horchata great. I came off peak hours so it wasn’t busy and service was prompt. The burritos we’re good too. Their presentation could have been nicer, and the sides a little larger but I still thought it was good, especially for St Louis. The Al pastor has pineapple in it which I wasn’t expecting, but added a new flavor and tender meat.

Homemade by the chef who learned from his grandmother in Mexico. The mole sauce was sweeter than expected, but after a couple of bites I couldn’t get enough! The green salsa was bright and hot with excellent flavor. The salsa was flavorful and not too hot. The ground beef in the enchilada was seasoned better than I’ve ever tasted. Would I go back? Absolutely!!

Stopped in while waiting for a haircut next door. Bought whole staff a patron shot then was offered a private reserve don Julio along with three of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Also great tamarindo. Will be back asap.

I had 3 soft tacos, chorizo, beef, and chicken. All were very good, although the beef needed more seasoning. She had a giant chimchanga that was quite tasty. Reasonably priced and good service. Definitely will return.

The “big chicken burrito” was the size of a soft taco from taco bell with no toppings..yes just chicken on a tortilla! Costing $6. The Margarita was a nice size but was super salty I’m all for salt on the rim but not in my drink can u say high blood pressure?! Costing $6 as well. The customer service was great but what I actually paid for was trash…just throw the whole establishment away! Complete waste and over priced!
