Absolutely our favorite place for takeout in Valpo. We try to eat here as often as possible. We tried a few items now (all are good) but our favorite is the quesadillas. Both the chicken and steak are amazing. Cheese dip, guacamole, or salsa are always great sides to add. All three are so good that it’s had to choose when placing an order.
The staff is amazing, friendly, and offer great service. Make sure to give them a try. You will not be disappointed!!!!

I wish I had gone sooner! Do you want food that is made by a husband and wife team who put every ounce of skill and authenticity into making good food? Because this is exactly the place to go and get it! Everything was delicious; the fresh guacamole made my millennial heart feel joy, the savory chicken quesadilla fought off the cold of the winter we are currently in, and the fire-roasted tomatoes in the salsa showed me that every morsel was made with love and skilled intent. Looking forward to more wonderful meals and memories here!

The service, food, and value are all unmatched in Valpo for Mexican food and there is not even a close runner up. Everything on the menu is incredible, the salsa is top notch. And the owners go as far as they can to make sure everything is exactly as you would have it, PERFECT!!

We had a family date night and ended up here bc of our friend Chad’s praise. Oh.My.Lort. It was so good…. Shrimp was chargrilled tastiness, salsa with cilantro and I had somebody the owner recommended… Shredded beef in crispy tortilla oh boy. Needed a cigarette afterwards and I do not smoke. Food was THAT GOOD.

Mexican is one of my go tos and I tried many places and all in valpo. This place is my new top 2 to go to now.
Their meat was not overcookedal and bunch of flavor.
Their pastor is a must to get.
I was going to get 2 tacos but the guy told me to get 3 bc it’s cheaper (3 for $10)
You get chips and salsa. Chips tasted fresh.
I liked their horachata.

Revised: I ordered again today and tried a flaunta and it was delicious. Tried the Al Pastor taco and it was even better!!
I really like the size of the tacos. There was so much meat it was delicious. The rice was different but I liked it. There was corn and a hint of lime to it. The green taco sauce was ok the brown taco sauce was not good. I was disappointed that they don’t give you a small thing of chips most places do. They didn’t give me any utensils or napkins in the bag , that bothered me but I will try this place again.

Been here 4 times haven’t had a bad meal. Everything has been amazing every time.
Update: this is my 10th meal at this place. The owner is amazing and this place is exceeding all my expectations on on quality consistency and the pricing is great. The tinga and pastor have so much flavor. I love this place!
