Our 1st time here, recommended by a friend. The food was delicious. I ordered the Choripollo (#34), chicken, Mexican sausage, pineapple served with rice, etc. The combination of the pineapple and sausage was excellent, the sweet with the spicy was a perfect pairing. We also ordered the burrito supreme (#46) with ground beef. Taste was excellent as well as the presentation. We had different margaritas both were very good. We definitely recommend this establishment and we will be back!

Have driven by many times over the years and never stopped to dine but I zipped by this week and changed my mind and gave it a try. It gets good reviews and I’ve had several people tell me how good it is. I thought, all these places are the same. And yes, it’s similar type, similar menu as other establishments, but was very good in my opinion. The server was super friendly. Menu is a bit large, many things seem same, but I tried the shrimp enchiladas and were very good. Again, its a hard comparison when most Mexican restaurants have same menus but I would go back again to try some other dishes. The desserts really caught my eye but I was too full to eat anything else. I didn’t see a happy hour menu and wonder if they do any happy hour prices, offerings.

Chapala’s is a new joint that opened in downtown Worthington and it is worth a pit stop if you’re a fan of Mexican cuisine. The staff were friendly, service was excellent, food came out quickly, and my waiter was attentive but not overbearing. There’s a cute patio out front that begs for you to sit and enjoy a beverage at during the last of the summer nights remaining. Decor inside is modern, pleasant and welcoming. Will be back.

My daughter and I went for a late lunch at about 3pm on a Thursday. There were only a few people there, so it was quiet. Music was at a good level. Free chips and salsa were really good. We got traditional guacamole and split the chicken fajitas and they were also great. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. We had a very pleasant experience, and would definitely eat here again.

I’ve been looking to find a good non chain Mexican restaurant to eat at and now I’ve found it. The agua frescas are great. I ordered the carne asada tacos which were very well seasoned and with good portion sizes. There’s a great atmosphere there with very friendly staff

We LOVE this place. This review is long overdue — we have been coming here over a year and never have had a bad experience. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing. They are always accommodating to our many carryout requests! 10/10 recommend!
