Chanticlear Pizza is an original Twin Cities pizzeria! Like many small, family-owned businesses, we started with one location in Fridley, Minnesota back in 1964. Chanticlear Pizza starts with fresh dough made daily in our restaurants. Next, we add our secret recipe pizza sauce made from all-natural ingredients including fresh California tomatoes. Chanticlear has over 20 premium toppings to choose from, including traditional toppings like Italian sausage, pepperoni, olives, onions, and green peppers.
Enduring local chain serving thin-crust pizzas with a choice of original sauces & toppings.

EDIT 2020: The new website is not as good as the old website, in particular for online ordering. You now have to manually input coupon codes rather than have the coupon link right in the menu. They also got rid of their awesome dessert pizza and replaced it with generic cookies.
First, the staff was incredibly friendly and they were quick.
I ordered the Chicken Taco Pizza, something I normally wouldn’t get, but I’m glad I did because it was excellent!
And I got cookie samples as they’re going to be selling cookies soon! And guess what? The cookies were delicious too!
Excellent service, excellent pizza!
I definitely recommend and I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu!
We loved Chanticlear in New Hope for years. For a couple of years we didn’t order food out due to COVID, etc. We recently did place a pizza order. We ordered a specialty pizza which included green or black olives and a choice of canned or fresh mushrooms. We opted for black olives and fresh mushrooms. The price seemed a little high but we figured prices may have gone up lately.
When we received our order, there was an itemized receipt on which we were charged extra for our choices of olives and mushrooms that should have been covered in the total cost of the pizza. When we called about it, we were told there was nothing they could do since we’d already taken delivery of it.
This past week we thought we’d give them another chance and this time ordered spaghetti and sausage. During the order the order taker said, sausage isn’t an option on spaghetti, only meatballs. We’d always ordered it this way in the past. So, while the person was putting our order in he announced that he could add sausage after all, but couldn’t take the meatballs off. We didn’t want the meatballs but decided to not push the issue for fear of 5% of the food delivery being saliva. When we received the order it was spaghetti with both sausage and meatballs… but get this… there were what looked like 4 meatballs, however, they were CUT IN HALF!
Chanticlear, you just lost two customers.
The end.
The guy that usually answers the phone at Chanticlear when I call to place an order is super friendly, professional, and our order has always been accurate. This time I should have known something was about to go horribly wrong after I was placed on hold for 4.35 minutes (8:40pm-not during dinner rush). Then I was told that they don’t deliver to my home (not true), even though he had just verified our address from their system. After establishing that they do deliver to our home I was told delivery would be 1 to 1.5 hours out. I still placed an order. I ordered the exact same pizza that I’ve ordered approximetely 3-4 times a month for 5+ years. When the pizza arrived it was not what I had ordered. No big deal, I wasn’t mad, it was totally fixable-I thought. I called the store back, the same guy answered, and I politely let him know the pizza we received was wrong. I calmly told him what I had ordered, and he told me “yep, that’s what I ordered, and that’s what I got”. No, it wasn’t what I had ordered. He spent 2 to 3 minutes telling me I’m wrong and that I don’t know how to order a pizza. He repeatedly asked me what he was supposed to do about it, never offering a solution, and ultimately hanging up on me when I asked him the manager’s name and his name. I called him back, now mad, expressing to him that I was surprised by the way he was handling the situation or lack there of given all the social media sites etc. He told me if I wanted to call and complain about him that he did not care, to go ahead! So disappointed.
