The counter woman was very nice. And that’s where it ends. The food was not good at all. Even the white rice tasted odd. The Happy Family had some unidentified food bits in it. The chicken fried rice was not good at all. Our meal was so disappointing. I had such high hopes. Maybe this restaurant will get better in the future!

Chan’s has the best Chinese food in Jacksonville. Great customer service and the food is 100/100. Has always been fresh and if you are from New York or Miami and have ever had their fried rice then this place is the best match for them!! I love Chans food, thank you Chans!!!

Nice and quaint little restaurant, we ordered in. Prices are good and owners are very nice. Food was great, had the wonton soup and honey chicken combo and my friend had the hot and sour soup and the generals Tso combo.

After being a loyal customer for over 15 years the last two orders have been horrible. This time it was not edible. I almost think the old guy who used to cook is gone. The rice isn’t good. The order was screwed up again. I’ve got the same thing forever, two chicken fried rice with no veggies. Again, completely wrong and for $30, I expect it to be right. This is my last time eating here sadly. They used to be the best at the beach

This food was horrible. I wanted to try the egg foo young because I hadn’t had it in a while. I looked at several places in the area but chose this restaurant because they had a fair amount of good reviews even though the food from the photos looked iffy, but it was worth a try and I was definitely dissatisfied.
I’ve never in my life seen egg foo young sauce that was as thick as this one. It’s tasted okay but the actual egg foo young itself was way to greasy, so greasy I had to drain it from the container. Then I started feeling sick afterwards.
I also ordered the hot and sour soup that was very tasteless with a spicy kick. This food only reminded me of why I stopped eating Chinese food all together. It wasn’t even worth finishing.
I visit here once every few months and I’ve honestly have had better Chinese in my town Miami and ft.Lauderdale.
Lots of people just don’t know what good is. They just want cheap food unfortunately. Obviously the locals don’t want to be mean and tell the truth about the food here but it was not even edible.

Friendliest service. Couldn’t ask for more. They always make it extra spicy just like I ask, and everything is on point. The general Tso is epic. The Lo mein is amazing, and the bean sprouts really give it a special touch. Crab Ragoon, and the pot stickers…cant get enough of them. I literally drive 30+ minutes out of my way passing many other chinese resturants just to go here. Trust me, try Chan’s, and you won’t regret it!

We did not like the food from here. Personally we love Chinese and try a lot. The general tsos was gummy like and the noodles were ok but weird, the chickendid not look like chicken, more like tiny chunks of chicken fat- I don’t know hw to explain. This place will serve you refried old chicken, but, nice people! Sorry but this is going to be the last time I will be coming back. I keep trying this place out because I did get fresh chicken a couple times before and it was amazing but 8/10 times I have been served refried old chicken and have to throw them out. I order fried chicken wings with garlic sauce on the side…. A waist of money… and so disappointing… check your food before leaving.
