Not a trendy spot, but it’s the kind of place I come back to whenever I’m craving traditional Korean food. The LA Galbi and Yookgaejang are always solid, and the side dishes (especially the braised potatoes) are really good. I also appreciate that gratuity is already included — straightforward and comforting every time.

Great experience here. The food was quite good – especially the whole grilled squid and the baby octopus bibimbap… and 14 different banchan! The two aunties who took care of us really made the experience memorable, felt like we were guests in their home as they doted on us and made sure we had plenty of beer and soju and refills of banchan. Will return asap!

I came here before and had the pork with bone and really enjoyed it, so I ordered the same thing again — this time with cold noodles.
When the food came out, the pork no longer had the bone. I mentioned it to the waitress, but instead of explaining, she rudely told me it was the same dish. I strongly explained the menu photo clearly shows bone-in pork. If they’ve discontinued the bone-in version, it would have been nice to be informed before ordering. I would have chosen something else.
Instead, they took the pork dish back, and I was left with just the noodles — which I honestly wouldn’t have ordered on their own. I was still charged for them and still hungry…
Very disappointing experience, especially with the way it was handled. A simple explanation or heads-up would have made all the difference, and what made it worse was the owners were there but didn’t come over to apologize or explain, I guess they don’t care…

One of my favorite Korean spots, I keep coming back for a reason. The ajummas are always busy (which says everything), and the banchan is consistently phenomenal.
My go-to is the galbi combo with soontofu, but honestly, I haven’t had a single soup here that missed. Everything is flavorful, comforting, and done right every time.
Whether you’re dining solo or with friends and family, it’s always a great experience. The consistency alone makes it stand out.
And the standouts? Japchae, mandu, and the mackerel, easily 5⭐ across the board.
Highly recommend.

This was my first time trying Korean food, and I was really excited to try Chanmaru. Personally, it just wasn’t to my taste — I don’t have anything to compare it to, but the flavors weren’t really my favorite. That said, my friends really enjoyed their meals, so I think it just comes down to personal preference.
Our dishes came with a lot of side dishes, which was nice, and the staff was very accommodating and kind when I had special requests. Overall, not quite my style, but I can see why others like it.

We were truly impressed by over ten small Korean banchan. The Korean tofu soup is very tasty and the bulgogi meat were thick and flavorful. Recommended highly this Korean restaurant.

This place is a hidden gem I don’t know how this place doesn’t have a higher score! Everything was perfectly seasoned! My gf got the big rib soup and it was perfectly executed. I got the cold noodles and LA Galbi combo and everything was so flavorful and mouthwatering! Lots of banchan to try out. The price was totally fair and worth it and not to mention portion size was just right! Definitely will be coming back here again!

Me and my Mom had such a wonderful experience here! The LA galbi was absolutely delicious – perfectly marinated, tender, and full of flavor. The beef soup was so comforting, rich, and hearty, exactly what I needed. Both dishes tasted authentic and freshly made, and the portions were generous too.
On top of the great food, I want to give a special thanks to our server. June was so nice, attentive, and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed and explaining the dishes with a smile. Her kindness really made the meal even more enjoyable.

Clean, outstanding selection of banchan (side dish), and average authentic Korean food. I was pretty hungry, but to be honest, I didn’t enjoy the food much. The restaurant was clean and the staff were helpful. Just a little bland taste for American Korean food.

It’s a classic Korean restaurant in a relatively new mall, parking is mostly easy and they bring abundant choice of side dishes. The food was very authentic actually IMO.They gave us 18 side dishes and they all tasted great.
