Who would expect a great little Thai restaurant in Delta, CO? But that is just what you will find at the Chang Thai Express. The food was excellent, the service was quick and friendly and the menu was pleasantly different from small town resteraunt that claim to be Thai restaurants. We tried the Tom Kha Ga soup and Drunken Noodles along with some spring rolls. All excellent choices and items we have tried in other places. If you are going through Delta, please stop and give them a try.

I loved my meal. It looks great inside and the service is fast. Portions are good and the spice levels are good. Would return here again.

I was a regular lunch customer who enjoyed this place once a week. I even told other people how good it was and to go there. Then I got take out for dinner one evening and the sauce was very watery and didn’t taste good like usual. After eating it anyhow, I got digestive upset with cramps, gas, and bloating. I went in to the restaurant the next day and told them the food made me sick, they wouldn’t take any responsibility for sending me home with what was obviously old and contaminated food. I will not be going back now, they lost a loyal customer. Their response was pitiful for a business saying “people often claim our food makes them sick”, I said I was a regular customer and I enjoyed Thai, it doesn’t make me sick unless the food isn’t fresh, the manager didn’t care to lose me. 🙁

Changs has wonderful Thai cuisine and very friendly, helpful staff! The place is always clean and tidy! I love the drunken noodles, medium heat, because Thai heat is too much for me. I love that stuff! I’ve had other meals there too, Pad Thai, spring rolls, always a joy!

The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. They personalize the meals to meet the needs of each person dining. The Montrose Chang Thai was closed so we drove there to get Thai Food. It was well worth the trip.

Arguably the best place to eat in Delta. The food is superb, can be made with a kick, and practically everything on the menu can be made vegetarian. Everything is made fresh and the staff are friendly and helpful. 10/10 would highly recommend.

The food was good, spicy but not overly so, portions well sized. However, the table was sticky and the salt shaker covered with some strange substance. The place needs a good cleaning.

I was so excited to find this addition to the dining options in Delta. It is a great alternative to the usual fast food fare. They are managed by the same people who own the Chang Thai Montrose Cuisine restaurant. I’m glad I don’t have to drive to Montrose.
It is a must visit every time I am in Delta. I always order Panang Curry (Coconut Milk Curry). It is one of my favorite Thai dishes. I order it “Hot” because I like to sweat. A glass of Thai iced tea helps to soothe the burn and reminds me sitting at a roadside cafe in Chang Mai.
If it wasn’t obvious already I’m a little obsessed with Coconut. With that being said I highly recommend the Tom Kha Gai Soup (Chicken Coconut Soup).
If you’re not a fan of coconut and prefer fried rice, you can’t go wrong with the Basil fried rice.
The staff is always cheerful and friendly. The don’t laugh too hard at me when I practice the few Thai phrases I know.
“Sawasdee Ka!” (Hello) I declare when I come in.
“Khob khun kha” (Thank you) are my parting words.
If you’re in the mood to try something different and practice a new language I recommend you stop by and say, Swasdee Ka (if you’re a woman) or Swasdee Kap (if you’re a man).
