First time I set foot in the establishment, it was 3 years ago almost to date.
Food and service was great.
Fast forward to today, we’re roatripping back from Las Vegas, and decided to stop here again on our way to Denver.
Checked out some recent reviews and couldn’t help but notice a few disgruntled customers giving the place one star and very negative reviews.
I was afraid the place was falling appart un service and quality.
Walked in, we were greeted by the hostess/waitress. They were slow as we were 3rd customer table. She took our drink order and we ordered appetizers wonton and crab Rangoon.
It didn’t take long till they were ready and she took our main dish order.
Those as well arrived very quick even tho the menu has a P.S. stating that patience is a must as all dishes are made to order.
The food was as exquisite as we remembered.
We didn’t get to order dessert as the portions are humongous. I mean I eat a lot but even I couldn’t finish my plate and was happy to take my left over home.
Definitely recommend to anyone interested in foreign cuisine.
Looking forward to coming back and hopefully, it won’t be “no” 3 years.

We stumbled across this gem of a Thai restaurant on our way back from skiing at Snowmass. I learned that “Chang” means elephant which is a national symbol for peace and prosperity in Thailand. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with hardwood floors and earthy colors, ornamental elephants on the walls, and the most impressive looking menu I’ve seen at any Thai restaurant. The menu looked more like a leather bound book than a menu, and it was chock full of descriptive order options and pictures.
The food itself was excellent. I had the Ramen Noodle dish with Scallops (mild) and my wife had the Sesame duck dish (medium). See pictures. The server was well spoken, friendly, and conversational. She didn’t even bat an eye when I asked for soy sauce, which is typically not a Thai condiment, and she even brought it out on a tray equipped with other condiment selections as well.
This is one restaurant that we will be sure to stop at again on our travels.

This place has the best Thai food in Glenwood Springs. I got the Pad See Ew with chicken and it was delicious! It’s also reasonably priced as well, so that’s always a plus 🙂

This is a nice place for Thai Food. Very clean inside with plenty of seating and a good selection in the menu. Pricing is very fair and the portion sizes are great. We sampled a few different items and all were tasty. The staff were friendly and fast with a great smile. We were able to have appetizers and main course dinners for 2 people, $56
We enjoyed this restaurant and recommend it to others. We would certainly return here again in the future.

We love Thai food and this place is our top in Glenwood Springs for family dinning. Kids absolutely love it and their lunch specials are the best deal in town if you want a great meal with all the extras. Plenty of space for the large groups or a couple out on the town that wants a comfortable atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable and the spring rolls are excellent, but my wife loves their curry the most. We keep coming back again and again. Tip: If you want some thing beyond the lunch menu, ask for the full menu and they have a ton of options.

Chang Thai was a pleasant experience. The restaurant was simply decorated and squeaky clean. Relaxing Asian music was playing and I immediately felt happy to be there.

Service was kind and attentive. The employees seemed to really appreciate me being there and I appreciated their warmth. I will return.
