Cozy small little shop selling heart warming comfort food. The flavours were on point. I ordered the curry fish balls and added mixed beef. The taste sure brought a smile especially on the cold, snowy day.

Yo, my guy here loves what he does and it shows in the food he serves and his customer service. Mind you, I’m an introvert, but in the short ordering interaction, he was able to ask where I was visiting from, my nationality, and even spoke to me in my language with what he knew. Truly wholesome. We got the signature curry fish balls and he recommended all the sauce add ons since I’d never had it before. He also made sure to ask about peanut allergies since peanut sauce was one of the add ons. It was FIRE. The rice noodles had the perfect chewey consistency, without being mushy or breaking apart easily, which is super impressive for that kind of noodle. The full sauce combo is a must. It is sweet/savory perfection. The value is insane for what you get and how freakin good it is. This Chinatown gem is a true Godsend that I must return to next time I’m in NYC. Praise the Lawd! Masarap! Salamat!

I ordered a curry fish ball rice noodle with a milk tea. Very good! Hit the spot! The place is small but has some stool seating. Nice spot to drop in for a quick lunch or takeout.

Love the authenticity of this place. This is A-tier with all the other rice rolls spots nearby, never misses.

Also, the loving workers here treat you like family. Nostalgia to just see them talk to the locals in toishan and Cantonese.

This was a fantastic place we stumbled upon in search of coffee.

The owner was so sweet and remembered us all 4 times we visited in 2 days. Unlike some coffee shops, he didn’t make a fuss about me asking for no ice, nor did he charge for no ice.

Unfortunately, we were too full to try the food, but we continued to return for the coffee. On one of our coffee visits, he brought out a noodle to show us why his noodles are so popular, great sense of humor!! He has a lot of pictures on the wall, with other customers, which adds a cute, homely touch to the place.

There are a few stools available, but it’s not really a “take your time dining” type place.

Would I return? OF COURSE! I regret not trying one of his dishes, but plan to the next time I visit NY.

The gentleman cashier is very friendly and polite! I was excited to try the famous steamed rice rolls at this small but beautiful restaurant (I met through IG) I was not disappointed at all. I was hesitant because I wanted to try everything. I just got the A1. (Curry Fish Ball) and E4. (Fresh Shrimp.) It was so delicious and the portions sizes are really wonderful for such an affordable price compared to other steamed rice roll restaurants I will definitely come back again to try other dishes ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This man is proud of his fish balls, and as he SHOULD be. These are some gassy noods.

They’re open early so it’s literally the perfect breakfast. Like who DOESNT want rolled rice noodles with 4 sauces and curry fish balls at 8am on a Saturday?! My dream Saturday morning.

A small A1 was a good size for a small meal for 1 person. Maybe for some people it would be a snack? Good breakfast size, if you my vibes.

The HK milk tea was good and not too sweet. Could be a bit stronger.

Great gluten free option.

There’s some space to sit inside.

A very famous Chinese restaurant specialising in noodles and fish balls.
It is always full, and the service is good and fast. As for the flavour, it could be better, and in fact there are better places in the surrounding area.

my late grandmother used to always take me to this gentleman’s cart ever since i was 4 years old. i cannot give this establishment their flowers enough. 21 years later and time apart from the city, the owner still recognizes me and GREETS ME IN VIETNAMESE at that.

hearty, affordable, filling, fresh – there’s nothing but good things to say about this establishment. there is no seating, but be sure to add this to your food crawl and support true local new yorkers.
