had some disappointing crab rangoons and shrimp fried rice with NO veggies and slimy shrimp…it was so bland that I don’t even think there was salt in it let alone soy sauce or any seasonings. I would pay someone to not have to eat here. Don’t waste your money here unless they improve their menu.

We ordered $50 worth of food and it was awful!! I ordered spicy chicken not spicy! Crab Rangoon taste like it was fried in old grease. My veggie roll tasted like a cabbage roll! Just a waste of food and money.

Avoid at all costs. We ordered the hot and sour soup and beef chop suey to-go. The soup tasted like a mixture of sink water and the orange sauce for orange chicken, and it is not even remotely similar to what an edible hot and sour soup should taste like. The beef chop suey tasted purely of lard, vinegar, and MSG. I thought about it hard and still cannot come up with a combination of ingredients that can mess food up this bad. Ended up throwing everything away. Such a disappointment and disgrace to call themselves a Chinese restaurant when the food was nowhere near authentic or delicious. Shame on you.

No. Vegetable lo mein made in old grease with a soapy clean spot of noodles. I’m not sure you belong in Madison CJ let that sink in. Affordable means nothing if you feed people like they’re animals. I will not be back here. And that’s a fact.

80$ order and it was awful. The only saving point was the rice was ok and the sweet sour sauce was good. Sweet and Sour Chicken was dry, the “BBQ ribs” tasted like, well, let’s just say I question the source of it. Same with beef and broccoli. Crab Rangoon, sweet and sour shrimp, eh, lo mien was ok, but eh. Not giving them anymore bussiness (or cash) ever.
. The bonus was a delivery drive who was nice, just not bilingual. But figured it out

Well, this is heavily sauced Chinese food! Which I like. Madisons Chinese food scene is either authentic and greasy or Hyvee and dry. This place is a nice change. Reminds me of my middle American hometown saucey goodness. I did get their Szechuan tofu – it was a level 1-2, but a little too spicy for me. The tofu was a soft tofu, which I thought was unique and yummy. But if you’re not sure you like tofu soft, talk with them. I also like the sautéed veggies with lo main: so good.

Some of the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Everything is bland and completely flavorless. Had the Gen Tso chicken, fried rice, shrimp and cashews, won ton soup, hot & sour soup. No flavor at all. Won tons were mushy, soup was dark brown and tasted like dish water. Fried rice was mushy and no flavor. Ended up throwing everything away! Don’t waste your time or money! Steer clear, there are better places. No wonder why there was nobody there at lunchtime!

We had this delivered, but called the restaurant and asked specifically for red sweet and sour dipping sauce. She told me to finish online order and she would add it. It was not included. We received the packets of yellow sauce for egg rolls, but four huge egg rolls and only three packets. Two large entrees and three soy sauce, which was also silly.
Food … pork and shrimp egg rolls, both good.
Beef with mushroom add onion, they didn’t add onion. However, it came with beef fried rice, which had plenty of onion in it.
Shrimp in garlic sauce was surprisingly sweet and had way too many vegetables for me. But the shrimps were large and tasty.
Next time, I will dine inside rather than delivery.

It’s good comfort Chinese when you want lunch and dinner the next day. Fast and hot generally except Friday like everyone else. How it’s 3.6 on here is silly. If you are some snob just don’t review . Take it to go for sure.

I’ve ordered delivery and pick up from here several times. Always hoping to scratch the chinese food itch unsuccessfully. Man it’s awful food. The orange chicken, general tso chicken, and sesame chicken are more coarse gristle and non chewable parts than chicken. I literally just had to spit out a piece it wouldn’t even break down… Lo mein tasted like old frying oil. Consistently awful food.
