My husband stopped there for a little treat for me. I had just had a heart catheterization at UVA. I will start with a positive the cromuffin was delicious. The valentine cupcakes they were still selling and the key lime pie were horrible! The icing on the cupcakes had a terrible aftertaste and were very dry. I’ve had a better Edward’s frozen key lime pie from the grocery store. This so called key lime pie was so gross! The filling had a horrible taste and the mound of cream on top was horrible. Fake thick whipped cream not real whipped cream. Out of a squirt can is better than the mess they used. So disappointing be he bought 3 cupcakes and two mini key lime pies that ended up in the trash. My husband tasted the key lime pie and couldn’t believe they were even selling that. Will not be returning

Extensive options for whole cakes and slices of unique cakes, cookies and pastries. Our lemon coconut cake was large and flavor very nice, exterior coconut was a bit dry but easily happens when in a refrigerated unit. Some nice looking whole chocolate cakes options. Cakes are expensive all over town but in line. Nice pleasant service!

You know I’ve been a long time customer of the bakery , but I think I’ve purchased my last cake. Pre Covid the hours were longer and the prices were much more affordable. I just paid 64 dollars for a cake and last year it was much less. I just think there are options and I need to make a switch. It was great while it lasted

I can’t believe I’m just finding this AMAZING bakery! The cookies alone are like heaven! ❤️ I’m from New York, so I know a good bakery. I saw a post of someone complaining about the cost. I just want to say, if you want quality bake goods, no matter where you go, it’s not cheap. I gladly hand over the cash for an awesome desert. My new go to bakery!

I worked with Sam and placed my wedding cake order. I ordered a simple two tier cake with butter cream frosting and two different fillings. I paid for the $250 delivery because I didn’t want to risk ruining the cake. My friend dropped off some flowers the day before the wedding. When I saw my cake the day of the wedding I was so excited because it turned out more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! It also tasted fantastic!

This is one of the few places in Charlottesville where you can find bread of the quality that one who grew up in the Northeast may be used to.
None of the gross soy flour-impregnated bread baked offsite you find at Food Lion. Only really good stuff here.

Fabulous & Delicious-
I felt like I was in a European bakery!! The smell is just amazing! Everything looks so delightful. They are even selling gingerbread houses that they make right there. I had a slice of cheesecake and it was so good! Honestly this is an establishment that needs to be supported so it exists for generations to come
